I Want Some More Action!!!

WOW !!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like the same crew that tried to get action for Corey is now trying to get action for Chris. Good luck finding action.......This is not a snide remark, I like Chris' game and he has a TON of heart.............

Jamey,

If you go back and look at earlier post from me and Billychips you will see that we were campaigning for action for Chris way before Billy started woofing for Corey. We woofed forever and found no action for Bart. But now that CHRIS BARTRAM is a registered user some offers a starting to come in. CHRIS BARTRAM as a registered user is looking like a pretty smart idea!

Looks to me that there hasn't been a day that he hasn't been in action since he left Dallas.

The nine playing ten ball

Ok, I didn't read this entire thread, but I'm here to offer up a challenge for Chris. Chris, you got the 8 from Larry Nevel. Let me know what you think. And yes, this is a real offer, and Larry was consulted before any posting happened.

I will play Larry with the 9 playing ten ball that way we don't have to worry about any rack issues. But there will have to be some stipulations on behavior because I am total gentlemen when I play. I shoot then I sit down. I don't get mad and slam stuff and complain about things. And I wanna play someone that acts the same way. Larry has had a temper in the past and I just don't wanna play someone that gets real upset and there be problems. So as long as Larry agrees to play a game of gentlemens pool I would like to play him A 12 AHEAD for 10k with the 9 playing ten ball. I was just in Florence Kentucky and they have a great playing pool table there and thats where I would like to play at.They know how to treat pool players playing some high dollar pool.

I am not sure what you are trying to imply but I do know all the guys that were trying to match Corey up on here and they never backed out of a game they offered. And they are letting Corey play Shane next week in the action challenge so sounds like they did find action and are willing to gamble. I know that Jamie ended up in Olathe with Money and Matlock wouldn't play Corey and also they tried to post money for Corey to play Jesse Bowman and Jesse wouldn't post. So to you Jamey I say you might want to get your facts straight before you bash on people that are willing to stake pool players for big amounts. No hard feelings to you but those guys will gamble and put it up and not say a word when they blow a big amount.

Just a thought ...

But, if you ventured north some to Tulsa (Shane McMinn, and others), OKC (Walden, Walter Glass, others), Wichita (Steve Rector, Terry Young, Jr. Brown, Mark Rogers, others), or Olathe (Matlock and others), you could get played.

I will play Shane and Matlock some even pool if they would like but most of them other guys aren't gonna play me without wanting big weight and me and James have already played a couple of times with the 7 and I will take it again if he wants to give it to me again on the 9 footer..

There is no hard feelings Chris, I know why Matlock didnt want to play Corey, its not that he didnt think he could win the game, he thinks that if two people are going to match up then they are the ones doing the matching up, not other people trying to make the game....... In my last post all i was really trying to say was GOOD LUCK finding some action. I know you have alot of heart and a good game...........again, good luck..

i could be wrong but isnt the only reason corey and jessie havent hook up yet is cause jessie wants to play sets and corey wants to play ahead sets.

From what I understand they agreed to play the races to 11 3 sets ahead like Jesse wanted and then Jesse said he wasn't for sure when his backer would have time to mess with it. He told them maybe next year.

So you take what you want from that. They agreed to everything he wanted and they said they even would go to Vegas where jesse wanted to play and Jesse won't commit and post. So sounds like there is alot more than races stopping this action.

You very well could be right...The only reason I even said anything cause the video on the action report corey said he wouldnt play that game (races to11 3 sets ahead) good luck in finding your action

he also said he doesnt want to end up playing one game for all the cash and why would he?

Chris: You've got the story wrong on Corey & Jess. Jess told Corey/Jamie they had to come to him because Jesse's backer is tied to Vegas...and he won't travel for $10-20k sets. If you know the backer, that comment will make sense. If you don't know the backer, that will sound like a cop out, which it is not.

Corey/Jamie said they wouldn't travel unless Jess posted (as if his backer is a common nit). Jess (let alone his backer) does not have a history of backing out of games, so this was an absurd demand given the reputations of those involved.

Jess relented on his preference for sets (accepted their game) and offered to post the $$$ thru Duff (since Jess was in Vegas at the time). Duff agreed to post for Jess so there are no excuses from Jess' side.

Jess did everything he could possibly do to make it happen and it didn't. Draw your own conclusions from there.

This all occured on the Action Report stream from Olathe so I'm not the only one that saw it unfold.

I hate the idea that Matlock is not in top form or even close to it right now. Because i promise he would rob chris b. There not even the same class of player. I don't think that james w. is in the same class of Dave M. Dave Matlock is sooo well versed and has a wealth of knowledge.
