I Want Some More Action!!!

Chris: You've got the story wrong on Corey & Jess. Jess told Corey/Jamie they had to come to him because Jesse's backer is tied to Vegas...and he won't travel for $10-20k sets. If you know the backer, that comment will make sense. If you don't know the backer, that will sound like a cop out, which it is not.

Corey/Jamie said they wouldn't travel unless Jess posted (as if his backer is a common nit). Jess (let alone his backer) does not have a history of backing out of games, so this was an absurd demand given the reputations of those involved.

Jess relented on his preference for sets (accepted their game) and offered to post the $$$ thru Duff (since Jess was in Vegas at the time). Duff agreed to post for Jess so there are no excuses from Jess' side.

Jess did everything he could possibly do to make it happen and it didn't. Draw your own conclusions from there.

This all occured on the Action Report stream from Olathe so I'm not the only one that saw it unfold.
I would want the money posted also. I'm not trying to put air back into this discussion by the way. One thing however, before I traveled half way across the country to play, taking time out of my schedule, spending my money, I would want the money posted. What is gonna keep Jesse's stakehorse from saying " I have 20gs blackjack action right now, why would I want to watch a 20g, 18 hr set of pool? " could happen. Posting covers that. 2 cents

Action , action galore....

I recently booked some winners and recently booked a couple of losers but I still want some more action.....

So if anyone out there wants to matchup I am willing to listen to some offers...All offers must be serious because I am looking to gamble pretty high....

I will have Dennis there on the Open and I know he wants to play you again with whatever you would like to wager. Or if you don't like Dennis, you can take your pick on any Filipino players that I might have available who would be more than willing and able to play.

Please respond as soon as you can so I can send words to these guys right away!

I hate the idea that Matlock is not in top form or even close to it right now. Because i promise he would rob chris b. There not even the same class of player. I don't think that james w. is in the same class of Dave M. Dave Matlock is sooo well versed and has a wealth of knowledge.

You are entitled to your opinion but David Matlock never played close to James Walden on anything but a bar table. Tell David to practice and I will play him at the US OPEN this year.

I know i shouldn't ever question a top players opinion (i really mean that). However, i think you're sadly mistaken about James & David. I guess you don't remember david beating buddy hall two sets one on the bar table and the big table, when buddy was playing good!! When they finally had a "real" big gun shootout tournament (IPT) David was the highest ranking american in one of those big big tournaments. David is a pure sleeper and a huge talent. He simply gets disgusted with pool from time to time. If there was chance of big big money again, that guy can get in top form and bust alot of people. BTW I've seen James book losers before. I've been around both. David gives James the 7 in regards to talent and knowledge. The only way he beats David is if he "outlasts" david. James never stayed up late trying to match up with david. In regards to you, Chris. You could simply call Dan Tull @ shooters in Olathe and arrange a game with David. He would need notice because David doesn't spring into action anymore. Another thing. You would have to call to arrange the game. David hates the internet woofing, PERIOD! When David is activated and read to go. You could own Kansas and MO. if you beat david @ shooters in Olathe.

I am not sure what you are trying to imply but I do know all the guys that were trying to match Corey up on here and they never backed out of a game they offered. And they are letting Corey play Shane next week in the action challenge so sounds like they did find action and are willing to gamble. I know that Jamie ended up in Olathe with Money and Matlock wouldn't play Corey and also they tried to post money for Corey to play Jesse Bowman and Jesse wouldn't post. So to you Jamey I say you might want to get your facts straight before you bash on people that are willing to stake pool players for big amounts. No hard feelings to you but those guys will gamble and put it up and not say a word when they blow a big amount.

Jay= Did McNugget ever come out to see you and shoot the "Mike Banks Out Shot" 9 out of 10 times  He must have because he never backed out of a game they offered, or so I have heard.

He's still practicing! :)

I have a ten year "statue of limitations" on this offer.

I know Jessie's backer I played with him before, and up until about a year ago he was still playing in the Kiddie pool (floor level) at the Bellagio. 20k is still 20k. I want to see this match go down to see if I am correct in my thought that the top players in the world The (Corey's, Alex's, Efren's, Orcullo's, Manalo's, Yang's, etc) can beat the small track specialists no disrespect to them they are monsters also (Kirkwood, Sargent, Bowman, etc) I know years ago when Matlock couldn't get anyone to play him even on the small track Jose Parica stepped up and out with the cash playing fifteen ahead.

He might be Superman

I lost twice with the 8,9 playing ten ball and once with the 7,9 playing ten ball...So its not out of line for me to ask for the 6,7,8 playing nine ball is it?? What should the game be then??

I will stake Jamie myself shooting the shot if you would like watchez??? Jay came with you have to get similar shape with the shot 9 out of ten times that is why Jamie never went and did it but as far as making the shot I will put him in to make it 9 out of 10 times.....

I am not going to his home poolroom to play him but if he wants to practice and play me at the US open next month I am more than willing to play him there even 9 ball or 10 ball on the big table...

That is one of the times they played, right? If i remember right David has beaten Paria for the cash as well. I wonder what their records are against each other?

Hey Chris, I'm not making games for you, unless I'm in. I do like the way you match up though and I reserve the right to bet on you. Again! You got 50 coming on the 500 I won on you already. Okay sport?
