I want the special Filler 12.4 Revo

I use the 11.8 Revo but I would love a 12.4 which is also super low deflection. I can't use the standard 12.4 because it deflects more than the Z shaft, which I played with for years. See the interview where Joshua Filler explains his custom Revo

Please Predator allow us mortals to buy the better version of this shaft =]

Sure, what's $850 for a shaft? A small portion of all the money I'll win with it!

Go look in the mirror, say it:
I can play with any shaft.
I can play with any shaft.
I can play with any shaft

I'm a pretty decent player. I've put in 10 years+ with the Z1/2/3 shaft. I love the 11.8 Revo deflection because it's similar to the Z shaft. Just like Filler experienced, the standard 12.4 deflects too much. He literally says it in the interview.... if you listened

The difference is tiny. Don't worry about this stuff. When you become a world champion give Predator a call. Golf club co's do the same thing, they make special one-off clubs just for tour pros that never hit the street. Unless there is a big enough demand don't expect to see the 'Filler Special' for sale anytime soon.

If there is demand I'm sure they will sell it as an option. Problem being most people don't realize this is the case with the 12.4, or even realize the differences in deflection.

Why they designed the regular 12.4 shaft with higher deflection is a mystery to me. Both the 12.9 and 11.8 Revo deflect less than the 12.4

A little known fact is the original design of 11.8 Revo deflected like crazy. I couldn't run 3 balls with it. About a year later I tried another 11.8 Revo and they fixed the deflection. So at some point they changed the design to reduce the deflection to be similar to the Z shaft. Now the 11.8 plays amazing, lowest deflecting shaft I've ever hit with. But it is difficult to be consistent with a small diameter

Call Predator and ask for Kim Newsome. I heard she was their shaft expert. ;) Seriously, all you can do is ask but i doubt they're going to make these one at-a-time for general customers. I don't know how you play but VERY few players have JF's touch/feel and can tell such tiny defl. differences. Not enough to worry about.
I play well enough to notice that deflection difference ;)

Better spending that dough on a Revo shaft that works instead of, say, this:

For all the haters and confused people out there. I love my 11.8 Revo and play great with it (and most likely, better than you).

I just want a 12.4 Revo that deflects a similar amount, like Mr. Filler. It's a bit easier to be consistent with 12.4. I personally have played with the 12.4 for months and played worse compared to the Z3 or the 11.8 Revo, which deflect less. Yes, I do notice the difference, maybe because I'm comfortable playing with extreme side spin quite often.

If you fall for predator's marketing ploys, that just means you're not a very good player. But to each their own, contact Predator directly and ask for the magic shaft.

A lot of carbon fiber shafts are garbage. But predator is the real deal, which is why many pros use the Revo...like Filler, the best player in the world

That was a good video, thanks for sharing. I was a bit confused.... I think Josh was saying both of those shafts were originally made for Pia, and that he inherited them? I wonder if he's mistaken that they are custom lower deflection just for Pia and/or Josh? I know the shafts say "custom" on them and "killer filler", and you can order the custom ones in 2 or 3 weight ranges. Maybe it was a simply a lower weight shaft that Pia had ordered and Josh liked the way it played better than the standard non-custom shaft?

When I say custom in this context, its custom from predator but for the general public that anyone can order.

integrating extreme side spin into ones game is doable for accomplished players, however, doing so when striking the cueball at over 75/80 % velocity has been the ruin on many a po boy

myself included
