Do I have this right?

To obtain your visuals, you put yourself in position to where you are straight on the cte line and you can see your secondary visual at the same time?

I don't want this to be a step by step. I would just like to know the answer to the question because it has a huge impact on my understanding the system.

Good question.
For me, with my cue between my eyes and starting at CTE and shooting from there for a ~30 degree cut, say to the left, my left eye can be aligned with the center of the OB.

For an 85 degree cut to the left, I must shift my cue and stance to the left and pivot right. For me, when I shift to the left, I am no longer on or can see the CTE line...some others say that they can tilt their head to be able to see both the CTE line and the secondary aim line with the left eye in my case.

But hey, I don't know how to do CTE aiming.

I'm not sure if you saw but from what he said in another thread, you never have to be directly behind the cte line.

Of course DVD 2 will explain all of this. :-)

You can read his posts on the thread "the basis of" posts 96 & 97.

Yup, I saw it and I am relieved to know that I don't have to tilt or rotate my head/eyes in order to see both perfectly at th same time.

My understanding of Pro One....
- Get into stance with eyes on Aiming Line (Aim Point 7/8 overlap,A,B or C).
- Establish the CTE visual
- From this sight perspective, forget about both visuals and swing the cue to cue ball center.
- SPF

I had trouble understanding Pro One at first. Just couldn't get it to work for me. But I could tell that there was something to it. I tried 90/90, other CTE systems and came up with some of my own but all had limitations on certain shots. Then many months later, the light bulb went off when watching he Pro One DVD again. I see it now and and wonder why I didn't get it the first time. It is really very simple and once you get it you won't forget it. As Stan said, Pro One is a prescription for feel. Give yourself time for your body to calibrate. Do the practice shots on the DVD. The diagram is on his website. Understanding Pro One has renewed my enthusiasm for playing pool! Keep working at it till it pays off.

Edit: here is the link to the Pro One practice shots

What is the CTE visual? Is it off to the side?

"Actually, you do not ever have to be directly behind the CTE."

Just as I indicated, you never are behind the 30 degree line as if you are doing the quarters system or looking at a half ball shot.

Been there, done that, doesn't work .

The CTE visual is an objective perception of CTE. Real CTE is about a different dimension in aiming and has nothing to do with being directly behind a CTE line. The CTEL Is always coupled with either the A or C line depending on the cut direction or with a B aim line.
All of this will have be explained in significant detail.
I have said thisvall along and nothing has changed system-wise.

CTE is a visual system about objective, unique perceptions that were never supposed to be.

Thanks Stan...you nailed it for me.

Center to Edge as proffered by Hal has been improved on by you and Center of the CB aimed at the edge of the OB is irrelevant.

Many users of your Pro say they just get down (stance) on the A, B or C or fractions of the OB aimline directly with no regard to aiming the center of the CB to the edge of the OB.

Thanks again.

You are as WRONG as you could be.

The system breaks downs with only one line or perception as you describe and I can show you this in short order.
I will be showing this to many people and you will be declared wrong not just by me but by others as well.
What I speak of is of another dimension that you have not experienced yet.

As I have said many times, Math can't solve CTE as of now.
Perhaps your energies will be better once you grasp real CTE.
I will be happy to show you what you will need to see.

Thanks for creating interest!

You can think as you wish.

That is fine.

I think creating interest means interest in the product, which equals sales. Sorry if I thought wrong or the concept offends you. Where I come from, sales are a good thing. It wasn't meant as a slag at you. It's hard to sell something no one is talking about.

Hello Stan,

I am wishing for the new DVD! I know that real CTE works, but I want to learn about why it works. I would take private lessons from you if I were local. In fact, I would travel to you but the wife wouldn't go for the expense. So it is a DVD for me.

You should consider a road trip around the country and offer lessons. Consider me a student if you find yourself in Dallas.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

You will be EXTREMELY pleased with DVD2.

I may do the road trip routine one day.

Thanks for your interest and work with CTE PRO ONE.

My bad, JC.

I did misread your post. No doubt, interest is a positive.
But my heart is in the right place concerning a DVD2 release.
I am more interested in advancing the realness of CTE than I am concerned about money.

I appreciate your clarification.

Kudos.
I am the straight man in this comedy.

I ask questions and offer observations based on the advertisements on CTE/Pro by Stan who says that "I couldn't be more wrong." This will arouse the interest in his DVDs to see where I can be "more wrong" without offering up the reason/s why I am "more wrong".

I hope that my employer doesn't get wind of this. The security of the Nation depends on my being right on anti ballistic missiles, drones in Afghanistan, GPS guided bombs to limit collateral damage and satellites to study Climate Change.

Go figure.
