you think ur embarrassed how do u think Shane feels getting beat by a old man with a stick the weight and length of a telephone pole, enough weight strapped on to hold jimmy Hoffa on the bottom of the Hudson river and eyes so bad he needs the hubbard telescope to see the edges of the balls in the rack,,, and few gave him a chance of being with in 22 games and he wins by 17 , if i were Shane i definitely would have kicked the cat when i got home,,,, and he can win by 50 next time out but it will take o away from this thumbing

ya so did i after i just spit a 6-2 lead in a race to 9 at the planet pool tourney at top hat...and earls age and i am amazed that he can stay focused like he does after he losses it,,,he would have probably shot one of the persons walking to the bathroom next to the table i was on , and broke and run the next rack unlike me who swallowed a golf ball

In a tournament, having respect for the room, opponents, and such is required by rules.
In a gambling match, while highly encouraged, it is not mandatory. If you don't like someones "antics" or attitude, you dont gamble with them. plain and simple. Shane and his backer took the match knowing what earl was like. After that it is no ones fault. You can't say, "I really hate the way this guy acts, I hope he is a gentlemen for our match."
Both played a heck of a match and I love watching the action. If people want to stick to bashing earl, bash his tournament behavior, not his gambling behavior.
JMHO, aside from personality, Earl can obviously hang with the best and always could.
If I am in a tournament, and my opponent is being disrespectful, beligerent, sharking, or whatever, Expect that I will say something and I would expect the tournament director to uphold the standards. If I am gambling, I am accepting my opponents personality as it is. You can enforce the rules of the game, but not "gentlemen" rules.
I choose my matches wisely and only play people I will enjoy playing with, I have extreme ettiquette when gambling and I like to play other players that return that favor.

Yeah, pretty low class messing with another dude's car because you bet against him and lost your A**.... pretty classy. That is completley against the "Man Rules"........ Drunk and stupid is never a good combination.

Normally my stance on professional athletes and there personalitys are like this; as long as they do there job and enertain i dont care like my favorite basketball player lebron james extremely talented but big flapping douchebag but i can live with that, but earl is just so unacceptable i cant like him anymore if anything he will turn people away from pool.
