Yes I am. Not been very active the last couple of year but I've started shooting more registered targets lately.

Murray...we met at the cue show through JimBo <the big galoot>. Anyway I see your a shooter and I have a question. Do you know anyone that is a buyer of shotguns up your way. I have a Verona O/U 12 gauge with engraved sideplates I wouldnt mind parting with. Its a sweet shotgun but I have no need for it anymore. Just fishing for info....

jimbo's gonna attempt cue makin???

Before this weekend JimBo has made a few cues for fun, but he's far from a cuemaker. although Murray's shit is real easy to run, hell a girl could do it. When you think you know it all it's hard to learn new things Jeff.

Good to know, Murray! I'm a big sporting clays shooter that also shoots lots of skeet and trap for specialized practice.

Nice talking with you. If you're ever out in Phoenix, look me up. I shoot out at Ben Avery CTC which is owned by Dave Mc Gaffee, who is a world class skeet shooter himself. He holds the Kachina shoot annually, which draws folks from all over the world. Hope to meet you in person some day!

Regards,

Steve Feld
Steve,
I lived in Phoenix for 50+ years. Spent about 10 years shooting archery at the Ben Avery shooting range - archery and trap shooting range. It was out on the freeway turn off to Lake Pleasant and was public range run by Parks department. Did it get sold or is your Ben Avery CTC another range? Just curious since I have some very fond memories of my father in law and brother in law at Ben Avery every weekend (camped out so we could shoot all weekend without "wasting" time driving home)

thanks for the pics

jimbo

thanks for the pics, it was pretty clear enough.
other than the pics, can you tell me about how the AE CUE hits ?
is AE CUE over price ? how come you don't really hear about their
cue on the U.S. market or oversea market ?
also, from the pics you send, there was one cue there i have question on.
it was the 7th cue starting from the left. i believe it a 6 or 8 ivory point with amboyna burl oval in between the ivory point on the forearm & as for
the butt sleeve, is ivory & amboyna burl & silver.
did you happen to know what is the asking price for the cue ?
thanks for the help.
