One person who makes a great cue with a good price to consider is Mike Bender (great value for the price) if you are looking for a player cue. He is not as high in demand as Searing or Hercek or Schick but his quality is up there.
But most of the cues in the past have been high end cues for the collectors.
Enjoy and let us know what you think...

iconcue said:i believe that a lot of the cues displayed are presold. some of the makers even have collectors send them cues so they have something to display. i think very few of the cues displayed will be available for purchase. i can give one example - bill schick will be displaying a total of 1 new cue. it was sold at last years show and was just completed wednesday night before bill caught the flight to west palm the next morning. it's more of a show to display what can be done to get orders for the makers. also i think if you bought at the show you would probably be paying a premium. if you are looking for a nice custom cue at a bargain price this is not the show to attend. if you want to be a cue snob and hang out with jimbo - this is your show!
jimbo is probably down there right now sucking up to every cue maker he can find and bugging the crap out of them with "no clue" questions!all the cue makers refer to him as "the cue maker groupie"

you never know - you might find a bargain!
but you have to be realistic too! if the makers have a wait list - it would look pretty bad if they are down there selling new cues. but they don't all have wait lists!
you can also network with the collectors for possible trades.
get ricks cues while you can!! they are some of the best in the industrybobroberts said:it is my first show, but i only live 20 minutes away,so I will definitly check it out.I own a Bryan Mordt a Viattorre and I have Kerry Zeiler building me a cue that wont be ready for another year at least.I was thinking that if there were extra cues there would be some bargains.I guess I was wrong.I still would like to see some of those cues in person. No I am not a cue snob.Every cue that i have ever owned has been chalked and played with.
I really want to see Richard Chuddy's cues. The man does some amazing work.
