Hello,

They list for $449. The cheapest I have seen on the internet is $359. I am asking for SOLD
I have broken about 40 racks with it and it smashes the balls so I think you'll be happy with it. As you can see, this one's ice blue in color and breaks down in 3 spots: the joint; the 1st jump portion; and a second jump portion. All 3 sections can screw together with the shaft or any other section, nice design. Of course has the Ice Breaker tip that's leather in the middle and phenolic on the outside. Nice combination of power and control on the break. Jumps easily, too.

There is a heavy weight bolt in the back section that could be removed or you can get different weight bolts, the back section weighs 9.2 oz with the weight bolt just under 3.5oz. The cue together is a little over 19.5 oz. very good weight for jumping and I actually like the extra weight in the back for breaking.

I would entertain cash offers, but they should be close. No trades at this time. It comes with those cool custom joint protertors from Tiger.

hmmm...

Maybe I am a little tipsy, but break even? Is that a rule that you have? I mean, it is used and you used it, so why would you break even, shouldn't you loose a little (not a lot, just a little) of your investment since it is no longer exactly as you bought it? And, its not a collectible as of yet that will appreciate in price?

Just confused.. sorry.. did not mean to lay this on ya.. just nosy I am.

I appreciated the bump. You confuse easily, huh? :). Yes, I would like to break even, but am accepting offers if you read further in the post, but close offers. I'm not looking to make money on the transaction, I have just owned it for a couple months. And it's still priced below market price.

I don't think I need to defend my post or reasons, but since you were the 1st, I thought you should win something :grin:. I should have just said ??? shipped, huh?

Changed the weigh bolt specs after re weighing the butt end sectiion. The bolt must be heavier than originally mentioned. I can pull the bolt out using a screw driver, but I would not be able to put it back in tight w/o a thicker allen wrench than I have so I didn't pull it.

Ice Breaker

Should be no problem selling this cue.
Dave is one of the best people I have dealt with.

Good luck with the sale, these Ice Breakers are really popular in Denver.
 
I experimented a lot with one of these cues. I found I like it best with the weight bolt taken out. Which made mine weigh about 16 ounces, or was it 15.5? I can't quite remember. I tried many weights though and 3 different tips. I like it with a G10 tip. After the no weight bolt and a G10 tip, balls sink like crazy.

Thanks Sly. I too experimented with the weight bolt out (I never knew the weight w/o), but it was a little light for me. But maybe my original post of the weight bolt being around 3.5 oz was accurate, that would take it down to about 16+/- oz. The design is the nuts, though and it breaks fine the way it is. If you say making those changes improves it, OMG!

Just a head's up on the design of this cue, since I designed it :grin-square:, all the weight is in the "ass" section of the cue. For breaking, one is best served by holding the cue as far back as comfortably possible, getting the weight in front of your grip hand, and then letting the cue do the work on the break rather that trying to muscle through it - which you'd likely be doing with your hand to far forward.

Also, these jump/break cues do use a HUGE weight bolt (5/8" hex head - I think), but Tiger does offer them in 1/2" to 4" in length. They can be used in series to get the cue dialed in however you like it best.

The shaft and two jump sections alone, weigh less than 10oz :thumbup:

As there is no more luxurious or effective break/jump cue on the market. This is a great deal your are offering on this cue!

Thanks, Corey. I agree with everything you stated. It took me a while to figure out about putting my hand near the end for the most effective break, but it was nice when I found it. I like the weigh back there. I just have to sell something and I thought this would go the fastest.

Just returned from buying an allen wrench large enough to remove the weight bolt, it is just under 3.5oz as originally stated. The back section still weighs 9.2oz.

Nice j/b cue available here under market value. Please, don't make me throw in an old Bungie jumper.

I can't exactly remember who I ordered mine from, I ordered it at 19.5OZ and they sent me one about 21OZ. I asked if they could send me a proper weight bolt as I didn't want to send my cue back from overseas back to the US and back again. They weren't very helpful and told me to cut the weight bolt myself. That's how I got started playing with many weight combos. One night I was playing 8-ball, and I made the 8-Ball on the break on the first try, than I started trying to make the 8-ball on the break, 2nd break no 8-ball, but a few balls went, then on the 3rd and 4th break I made the 8-ball. The challengers were getting mad and told me to stop it.. hehe I made the 8-ball 3 times in 4 breaks.
