ID Adam cue

In amazingly good shape for it's age. Wondering approximately when it was made and from what series, if any. The only indicator that it is an Adam is the lion sticker on the shaft, and the M/A3 sticker on the butt cap. It's design is very similar to an Adam Bandit MAC-2, but there are some notable differences. And looking at the joint, I am guessing it is an earlier model.

Might be some confusion with this one. There is a catalog that may have been misprinted?
Your cue's sticker clearly shows the MAC3 sticker.

Yeah, a little weird. The sticker on my cue is M/A3, but it closely matches the MAC-2 in design from the bandit catalog. Could be that Adam put the wrong sticker on my cue? And also, the format of the model numbers is different: M/A# vs MAC-#. And the joints in the bandit catalog are implex, mine has an older style.

Found this page with a similar model (M/A-12) and model number format, which matches the MAC-12 from the bandit catalog.

Makes me wonder if the Bandit series was released twice, once in the early 70's with the M/A# format and those older joints, then maybe again later in the 70's or 80's with MAC-# and implex joints? Any way to know when that bandit catalog was printed?

A little weird? I would say the whole cue is weird. And cool, I have a collection of oddities and your cue would be right at home in my rack.🤓
Either the sticker is wrong or that catalog is.
Here are a couple leads.
