ID help with Pawn Shop find!

Looks similar to this old cue.

I think JoeyInCali responded to your original post that it could possibly be an Al Romero - I’ll ask him but I’m guessing no on that one too because of the joint pin.
Al also said no - he’s not the maker of that cue.

Salazar sold a bunch of cues like this that came from McWorter. I think someone in the shop made them not Jerry.

I appreciate all the responses. I may clean it up and keep it as a backup. I’m not very familiar with the Purple Heart wood. If I decide to clean it will the wood stay the original color or will light sanding (correctly done) change the color?
Thanks in advance!

I've never seen a Mike Stacey with a Radial pin, he tends to use 3/8x11. Kevin Varney used that collar color quite a bit, but like some have said, it's a big universe of makers out there.

There's a Cue Builder in Houston, ''Tow Boy" that built the exact same design. I can't say its one of his, but I had two that looked identical!
I agree. It looks very similar to a cue he built for me in 1990. However, the pins he used for mine are clearly different.

I wanted a 3-piece Sneaky for playing in bars. I also used it for a break cue when using my Richard Blacks as players.

Here is the cue Bill Ricard built for me in 1990:

Nice Cue! People who dont know about him would be surprised about how many people loved the way his Cues played. He built three cues for me all of them used a 3 8/10 pin which at that time was my preferred pin.

He's well-known in Texas, especially for his titlist conversions. I have too many sneakies, so if anyone wants one, I have one to sell.

I think that's palm not purpleheart.
