I have had this cue since 1990 and have never come across another one like it. Does any one know what the production number of this cue is? It has one ring at the butt and razor sharp points that were hand cut. Also if anyone has an aprox value of the cue? Thanks.

This is a tough one. Often if you see spliced points and pantograph inlays, the inlays were done or added after the cue was made. Around the 1988 - 1989 time period was when they changed over to pantograph inlay points. So this cue was made during that cross-over time. Since you've had the cue since 1990, it probably came from the shop like this.

Evan might take a while - even a month or two to answer, but he will answer if you e-mail him at info@schoncues.com and he might be able to ID it. Schon had hundreds of designs, but I think he'll recognize the ebony on ebony forearm. That's very clean looking by the way.

I have 3 shafts two that came with it it when I got it one after market, I don't know the manufacture. All shafts have a single sliver ring like most all schon shafts. None of the shafts have "schon" on them.
