BTW... Speaking of Hueblers... I have a 70's brass pin H1 in excellent condition (needs a new tip). What's something like that worth? I also have this Huebler Carom Cue (mid 80's)... I don't have any friends that play carom so I don't know what it's worth either? Any collector value in that?Well, how does it hit?
WTF? Then it's a viable player! Saying a cue hits similar to a Huebler is an attention getter. The conical taper is a negative, but it has a fat shaft that could be turned or a different shaft screwed on because it is a common joint.
Throw it on eBay and see what happens. I think you'll easily get your money back and then some. Make sure it's a good ad, good pictures, and detailed description. Make sure you mention the 14 pin joint, you know "just like most Balabushka, an other greats".
Real points/veneers. Real linen.
And...It hots like an old Huebler (YMMV of course, but I would put that in an eBay ad)
If you have an old spare "good" shaft with a pro taper that isn't particularly valuable but fits, you could package that with it for an Ebay sale. Or maybe a case. Maybe if it goes over X amount you can add such a thing. Lots of ways to entice bidders.
I would be curious to see what you could get with a well presented eBay auction.
I'll have to take pictures of the H1. I don't have any on my computer at the moment.
