From time to time, I like to post some interesting stuff to see what people think.

Any guesses on this matched pair ?? They go back a ways....

Gina?? It's a long shot...but the buttsleeve looks like a couple older Ginacue examples I saw at VF in March.

That's cool. Whoever made those cues put flats on the joint so you can get a wrench on it. :D:D:D

I'm guessing 1960's era Vikings.

Paul Drexler, just because the blanks look like they came from what's his names estate! On second thought, whats his name!
How's that for a insiders answer.
Just guessing!!

Are the rings in the butt sleeve (and below the ss joint) silver or metal? I can not tell from the pics.

man, these guys are good....

The rings are metal and they are, in fact, Rocky Tillis cues. I was wondering if anyone would pick up the fact that they were on eBay....well, one of them was anyway. That was about 2-3 years ago. My buddy Matt purchased the one off eBay and was talking with the seller, who said he had another one just like it. He ended up making an offer and just taking them both....

Dave,

Actually we should all give rep to SSACH who was the first to ID it.

I've made mistakes too! I bought an old National thinking it was a Tad. I bought a one-of-a-kind Palmer, turns out it had a Meucci butt glued onto it. I've hit some home runs too but it's live and learn in this hobby!

Once Merylane posted and I read Florida it clicked. Nice Traditional cues!!!
