One of the greatest players who mastered the punch stroke. You're right it has been asked. A lot. What kind of shot? Long straight in? Super thin cut? Bank? Kick? If its just making a ball under the gun i'd put Sigel way up on any list. In his prime he shot so straight it was a joke. Modern guys i'd say SVB/Gorst/Filler would be a pick'em.
Everybody, try to find a pic of the combination Earl pocketed to win the 10 racks, one million dollar challenge.
If that won't convince you who the straightest shooter under pressure is, nothing will...
Being from his stompin' ground, he's much more effective the other way.louie roberts if he was sound.
That was the game!!Roll out 9 ball days.![]()
And on long thin cuts along the short rail….I’d take Parica over St Louis Louie …and Jose didn’t need extra help.
Not really...I'd consider Earl, Parica and Shaw as better shooters.Assuming we're talking "in their prime" then Mark Williams would be a great choice, quite possibly the greatest single ball potter in the game of snooker.
In pool it's hard to argue anyone over Filler.
Kazakis, apparently.
Kazakis indeed looking like a good choice at the moment
I'll bite. What's the story?Larry Ryder. The only person I know who actually made a ball with a gun pointed at his head.
Story goes he was playing down south at a real shady spot. Larry said it was “full of convicts”. Some guy was betting on him on the side. It was time for Larry to shoot the money ball, the side better pulled his gun and told him if he missed he was dead. Larry said he was so nervous he actually missed the ball but the table rolled off and it ended up going in.I'll bite. What's the story?

Larry the Legend. I started playing him when I was 15. He could tell a story and I’d sit and listen to em all.
