If "money won is twice as sweet as money earned"

"Money lost would be worth the cost, if the money lost was to Mister Frost.
Losing money is fraught with emotion, especially when lost to young Miss Ouschan.
If I lost money to Mister Daulton, I'd have to admit it's probably my fault then.
And, money lost to Miss Karen Corr, would be money you'd see, nevermore." :)

... is never forgotten. that's why u might not remember your wins, but u always remember bad beats.

as a result if u are good at gambling then the memory of the losses keeps u sharp until it's time to hang your pole up.

Money lost is... ????? (finish the sentence)

Money lost is money gone forever. You can never get it back if it is lost! On the other hand, money lost is a lesson learned.

I lost a set one time real bad, a race to 7 games playing 9 ball. We lag for the break he won the lag, and I never got to the table. He would look at me and say Lock you lost another one when he broke and made a ball. I paid him and mumble something. End of that story. No we did not play another set at that time!
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.
