I don't know if I'd say that was terrible; sure, the first few misses were pretty bad, especially refusing the pot the second time around to attempt an extremely difficult safety. But after Williams played a really good safety, you can't really blame Harold for his first few misses; that's what a good snooker safe is supposed to accomplish. Trying the exact same escape 8 times in a row probably wasn't the best idea though.
 
I don't know the rules of snooker, but couldn't he have just taken an intentional foul and just shot the green out of the way?
 
The true definition of stupid is trying the same thing over and over, expecting different results!:boring2:
