If you don't like the Predator Races to 4 and Shootout, what changes would you make to ensure that Pool is more viewer friendly?

I think I said it well enough in the title.

In this case you're contributing to the game and making it so you'll watch more.

What changes would you make?
 
Maybe a challenge thing like "horse". I think the shoot out portion is more exciting for the uneducated viewer. I mean running racks is boring for TV. I thought last weeks Women's watching Fischer lose to a semi unknown was exciting. I'm not talking races to 4 but maybe 20+, Possibly something lasting 30 minutes. And I'm not talking trick shots either.
 
Horse idea is a good alternative. Even the spot shot fantasy should include back cuts. The best application for these contests would be as qualifiers to establish that players belong on the floor at all.

I hope that the shoot our is wright... On a 9' table I think that it should be the same as the Asian shoot out for ball placement... Center line one diamond out for cb and ob... Guy

Yeah, I probably have a little trouble with schedules impacting the game…I’ve always preferred races to 11.
I might like the three to 4 even better….worst case scenario for either one…21 games.

With these short races this isn't a bad option. Here is my idea.

To keep the times from stretching out to endless matches

Let the games won break the tie.

If they have the same number of games won, then do the shootout.

The shootout isn't all that bad, (but it doesn't seem right if the losing player barely squeaks out a win to
make it a tie.) That is bad.

Join both races into a single race with a shootout if both reach the hill.
