hagan cue?

hate to say it but you can find more balabushkas and szambotis and jerry franklin era southwests than hagan cues. from what i can recall i think be built cues up in ohio. in maybe 18 years of checking out cues i have seen maybe 4 including ebay. good luck on finding one, seriously.

but there does appear to be a general consensus that 'Instroke' or 'Jack Justice' cases are the way to go. I've managed to found numerous suppliers of the 'Instroke' range but have yet failed to have a successful hit on any of my web searches for 'Jack Justice' cases.

For $2000 I would get a 4 point Mike Webb cue, Stinger and a plain black 2x4 Whitten. Nothing fancy but very high quality.

I would order a custom Justis with all the bells and whistles for about 800.00 Then I would save money and buy one cue at a time.

I thought he quit and went into furniture business.
He made nice stiff cues ( thick butts and thick shafts ala SW ).

Alex Brick runs the Pro Shop at JOB billiards in Nashville TN. He replaced Joe Blackburn. The last time I was there he showed me a nice all ebony cue with lots of silver.

Too good of cue, too few out there.
