I'd get mostly tenderloin and sausage. Maybe a few deer steaks.

Since you are only giving us three choices, I would have to choose a high dollar Tim Scruggs cue. I already have a lower priced Scruggs and I would love a high dollar cue. Tim's fancier cues are beautiful.
My second choice would be a Gina cue. I have seen several designs that I would love to have.
I have no special reason, other than his designes do not appeal to me, but I have no desire to own a McWorther cue.

If i have some extra cash to spend i would surely go and by some airplane tickets to visit my friends all over the world. BUT if i have use that money to buy a cue i would go TS original sneaky.

(i have to admit that in any case my money would go on plane tickets at the moment)

timmy

if we have only these 3 choices, I'd go with a "scruggs" wrapless cue no matter if it had points or not. I'd like to see what all the hype is about as I've never gotten to play with one. his cues look great, and if they play half as good as they look, it would be a keeper as I've FINALLY slowed way down on my "buying/selling" sprees...not to mention it would probably appreciate in value over time.

Tough call....all of these new from the cuemaker are high today. Scruggs would be my choice for something in the $1000-$3000 range...definitely a Gina for $5k and up range. IMO, McWorters are not as good an investment as the other two.

I agree, would go with a Scruggs myself. The price on Tim's cues always seem to go up.
A lot of Ginacues are just too damn fancy to be a player IMO. There's no point to me to own a cue that's only purpose is to put in a display case to be viewed.
I do have my eye on a McWorther at the moment though.:D

Just like that; like i said that my first priority is to get those damn tickets, so from $3000 i'll get both the cue of $1000 and enough flying miles to see some friends and family members.

You can bet your ass if I paid in the neighborhood of $12k for a pool stick it would never see contact with a cue ball.:p

isnt the guy from ginacue missing in action right now? theres 2 famous ernies who are cuemakers and i always get them mixed up lol. If this is the same ernie who has gone on walkabout, i might would go for one of his cues if appreciation in value was my main concern. The hit of scruggs cues are almost legendary, so for a playing cue id probably lean that way. Ive seen a few nice mcworthers but i dont think his cues have the upside the other 2 do.

Scruggs 1st, then Gina. I have 15 Scruggs cues and all of them hit very well. I have a couple of older collectable Scruggs cues with Timmy's letter of authenticity that they were some of his first works while teaming with Frey. I also have one of the first ten built Gina's with Ernie's letter to verify the cue. Love his work also. I have yet to hit a ball with McWorter so it would be hard to rate his cues. Love those Scruggs!!

Tad, Tad, and Tad. Allready own two old ones but neither one are top of the line and have been trying for 25 years for him to make me another one. Always to busy, I'll be in his shop again next spring when we fly into the States and give it one final try, maybe I need to bribe Fred into talking to his dad!!!!

Scotty....you are thinking of Ernie Martinez out of Colorado. And actually, it is my understanding that he is back, and back to making cues again....however, he is NOT taking custom orders currently, and is only doing 'Merry Widow' type cues at the moment.

Not the same Ernie. :)

None of the above.....sorry. For the kinda money you're talking, I would go for a fancy Bender....some of his latest stuff is just unbelievable!!

Well, I have 2 Scruggs, a wrapless one of one & a sneaky pete
so I would love to have one of those fancy Ginas.
