You can bet your ass if I paid in the neighborhood of $12k for a pool stick it would never see contact with a cue ball.:p

well mine was over $8k and i play with it everyday... i wouldn't buy a ferrari and not drive it either...

I'd take all my "extra money" (there's no such thing in my world) and go to Bushwackers and do some Scruggs shopping. One of those box cues I think.:)

If I went the Gina route it would be something with alot of snakewwod.

Andy
no extra money in my immediate future

I did have a few extra bucks, so I bought a GINA. Next on my wishlist is a Hercek, although I am on the waiting list for one by Ernie Martinez now that he is back.

I think we need a separate forum for all the cue nuts. I see a new thread like this every day. Why do you need to ask the same question every day?

Poolsleuth,

I assume you were asking what model my avatar is? It is a variation of the 11C.

People post these questions just to aggravate you. :D :D

This thread brings a question to mind. For those of you who buy these high dollar cues, are you searching for a better hitting que or are do you buy them as an investment?

Both are important to me I have had collecable cues that hit like a broom stick (or worse) and unload them pretty quick. I collect becouse cues are fuctional art to me . That and the fact that stocks are not doing well and I can turn a higher % return with my money investing in nobrainers. Bill

Can't you just change the name of the "Cue Gallery" forum to "Cue discussions" and have it function as botha gallery to show off new cues and a place to post such deeply philisophical questions as this.

Now as for me, if I had enough "extra" money to address the original poster's question I'd buy a Gina, assasinate Mr. Gutierrez (sorry, needs must), sell the Gina at the 500% mark-up now guaranteed, use the money to spend a few weeks in intensive stroke therapy with Jerry Briesath or Mark Wilson, then go make my fortune on the IPT using nothing but my raw cunning, nerve and a plain-jane Capone.

After you bump off Mr G. I would suggest spending the money on a good lawyer.
