Nah, you know me well enough Pablo to tell it like I see it. I think we all get tired of the bullshit by some here in the forum about the I.P.T and Kevin Tredeau. I mean, WTF, even the non-players are excited about this thing, me included, who will never make a dime out of this but are happy for the real players out there who deserve a shot at making some serious money for their practice, hard work, and a life long devotion to a game that has no long term pay off. How does it help anyone to say shit about the tour or K.T. and his past? And who gives a flying phuck about how much money Bill Gates has given to research for Malaria? Phuck, GIVE me $2.50 for a cheeseburger and I'll be a happy Mo'Fo'. Well, that and an invite to a I.P.T. event.

I always find it amusing that the bitter people call KT a "snake-oil salesman", but then Bill Gates is just a concerned Malaria donor whos done nothing bad to get him where he is. Gates doesnt just try and sell people "snake-oil", he monopolized the entire procedure and replaced the "snake-oil" with "virtual snake-oil" (i.e. Windows, IExplorer, ect.).
Who the hell cares how he got money, or what he sells whether its swamp land in florida or snake oil, or just his imagination. Since when has the pool community cared so much about where money is coming from; how many of you have taken money from generous people while playing pool? Generous = Clueless.
This may be the first try at actually legitamizing pool as a sport with atheletes being fairly compensated for thier hard work and efforts. Why knock it? Even IF it fails, at least it was tried; Lord knows the BCA is not holding up to its end. And the UPA is garbage. You IPTers should be going into this like you are going to gamble with KT personally, you put your money on the light; and he gives you bigtime odds on your bet: and now its up to you as a player, are you going to give pool the boost it needs by showing true sportsmanship? Are you going to be the one people want to cheer for, are you going to be the one people watch the show for? All I hear is KT this and KT that, when really the deciding factor will be the players. Will people want to tune in next episode to see how thier favorite players are doing? This is reality TV people, and you are now the actors without scripts; all you have is your pool cue and your personallity; I recommend working on the latter so that this whole thing takes off.

Wouldnt it be nice to actually want to teach your son or daughter to play pool well, and to be proud of that talent? Right now this is not the case, many pool players I know say they wouldnt want to teach thier children pool because its a waste of time (i.e. no moolah). Id rather teach my son pool if he had a chance to make a living at it... much cheaper than college!

There are many very wealthy people who are not on that list or any list.
Their wealth is in privately held assets and they choose not to reveal it.

Andy Beal is a famous Texas banker who played in the biggest poker games ever held anywhere, where millions were won and lost each day. He IS a billionaire and you won't find his name on any list.

A milion million would make one worth 1000 billion dollars.

One thing for damn sure John. Pool needed something. Here we are in 2005 playing pro tournaments for less money than we were in 1985. Something was definitely not working.
