The mechanical bridge is a great scapegoat, after I miss I just start twisting the head of it , like it has come loose ,or look down it like a spear , pretending it is crooked as a dogs tail. Then I throw it on the ground in disgust and in a loud voice , swear that I will never again use this infernal useless piece of equipment. I never considered jumping off it, even in my deteriorated state of health , I don't think the fall would injure me { but I am willing to try it!}

I absolutely despise using the bridge. So I trained myself to shoot left-handed. I can play probably 70% left-handed. I've practiced it a lot.

I need more context. Why could I no longer use a mechanical bridge? Because it's illegal? Because my arm and hand cannot physically use the bridge???
If it were illegal, then Buffalo rules have to apply. And that (combined with drinking) only leads to more fun.
