It is my understand that Valley Forge Expo is like a Cue Candy Store, for Kids with Appetites for Cues. :D

As I was not there, I ask those who attended what Cuemaker, or Cuemakers work made you say WOW, AWESOME, or just GEE WHIZ. Or just impressed you a whole lot.;)

Okay, Ken (highendcues.com) had a new Barry Sz that was gorgeous. He also had a Gus Sz with a ton of barbell inlays. Sorry, but my new 48" dual fuel range comes first.

As for the cuemakers, unfortunately the last cuemaker actually exhibiting any cues that made me do something terribly private was Richard Black with his ivory and abalone masterpiece. Richard was there on Friday and looked great, got a chance to speak with him and John Bender. God, he's still a handsome devil!! Yeah, BOTH!!

Just being in the presence of Barry Szamboti and Joel Hercek was the biggest "Holy crap" for me. Impressive doesn't begin to describe it.

Richard Black had some Box cues in the cornerstone booth! these were magnifico! the cue had a flawless snakwood forearm grain, and Seen a $10,000.00 andy gilbert in his booth

Although I saw some beautiful Gina cues at one of the dealer booths, the cues that really caught my eye were those made by Samsara and Richard Chudy. Both had outstanding craftsmanship and inovative designs.

Of course, a very nice Capone cue just happened to jump in the trunk of my car and hitch a ride home. :D

I haven't seen any of the Samsara cues but Fred was telling me about them on Fri afternoon. Later that night I met him upstairs at the party & talked to him when we ran into each other through out the weekend. He was a super nice guy. From the sounds of it, he's got some nice cues to go along with his nice personality.

I've got to find a way to make it to Valley Forge next year!

Barry, Dennis and Joel walking around talking to everyone

Meeting Richard Black in person after first speaking with him on the phone over 26 years ago

The snakewood box cue Richard built and "forced" me to hit with! :D

Pete Ohmen's work and willingness to talk cue design

Danny Janes holding court with most everyone who walked by

The Szamboti delivered to Ken on Friday

The loiterers beside the concession stand - Hercek, Szamboti, Schick, Searing, Cantando, et al

Andy Gilberts pink ivory cue - OH MY!

The friendliness and helpfullness of Bill Grassley and Ken

And, finally ........ Barbara's NUTS!!! Ahhh, heaven redefined. :D
