Maybe trying to get people to do what you want by annoying and insulting them will work better here than it is working in the national venue. But I doubt it.

Ahhh, the chief clown chimes in. If you dudes are too dumb to understand people have their favorite threads and one thread in one particular subject will not reach everybody, it's your problem. Meanwhile the contributions are coming in..... None from the comedians, jokers and clowns however.

I'm glad he's getting donations, that's not my issue. I can tell you honestly that there are two things I will never do because of your posting style: Donate to this cause, or get lessons from Robin. It's a shame, both may be great things but you ruined them for me.

I think you should post a donation thread on every single forum here, and then a second thread that points to that first thread.
That's really the best way to conduct things, ya know. People love it when marketers call, send snail mail, send email, and then stop by a couple of times to discuss important offers that we should consider, then re-consider.
Do you really think people on this board will respond well to some schlub shaming them into contributing to his friend? Or insulting those who don't post messages you approve? By posting thread after thread, both for RKC's benefit and Robin Dreyer's, you have achieved rapidly diminishing returns. Wish them nothing but the best, however.

I don't think you've ever made a constructive post on AZB but let everyone read how you would get the news out about a fund drive for a guy most everyone in the pool community has relied on for pool table advice for 10+ years and is now down and out? All I knew to do was start some threads in different locations to let those that want to contribute a chance to learn about it. We're waiting wise guy......
