After being knocked out, George said anyone that wants to work with him for 30 days and do what he does then play some...he'll bet 50k.

I'll work with him and do what he does for 30 days, then he has to work with me and do what I do for 30 days, then we can play some and HE can bet what he wants. I know a TON of people that would take him up on that, there's a few on AZbilliards as a matter of fact.

Does he really think he's the only one that works, deals with life's ups and downs and plays pool decent?

From the looks of the tournament and the attitude of quite a few players, they would have done better to forget the players lounge and put in a nursery with complimentary diaper changing for all the crybaby's there. They can make it the "International Pampers Tour".

I hope potential sponsers (for the Tour and/or players) don't think the majority have the kind of attitude some of the players are showing.

I have heard Breedlove make this statement before. I hear that he works making furniture long hours each day & I assume he is referencing the pounding his hands take in doing so.

So?

Big deal.

I wasn't saying it was or was not a big deal. Just letting you know that is a line I have heard before & what his possible thoughts on it were.

Actually it is a big deal. George Breedlove is in a rare group of players who work full time and play world class on top of it.

Until you try and lead that life don't knock it. Maybe George was blowing off steam but I think it is okay considering the pressure he's under at the tournament.

George is one of the classiest guys in pool. A lot of players would do well to adopt his attitude towards the game and life.

Hi John,

I agree with you 100%.

George is one of the nicest and classiest guys not just in pool but in life. He was at The Pool Room in Marietta for an IPT Qualifier a while back and did one thing that I, as an owner of a business, rarely see. He was on his way to the rest room. He saw a piece of trash on the floor, bent over and picked it up and threw it in a trash can. This happened during his rest room break from the tournament.

As a business owner, I appreciate it greatly. There are very few people that would do something like that for someone else. I have seen employees who wouldn't pick it up. Instead, they would walk around it. (I hate that the most).

Just thought I would share this experience that I had with George Breedlove with Y'ALL.

JOHN

He has said this a lot and no one has taken him up on the EASY 50k yet. Hmmmmmmmm I wonder why? Johnnyt:rolleyes:
PS. I've never heard a bad word about him. Johnnyt

I don't think Steve is talking about George specificly. These guys have known about this and what to expect for a long time. If they are out of shape, well, don't cry now. Part-time players usually play well, part of the time.

I could be wrong but it sounds like George was a bit upset about being knocked out of the event. Hopefully he won't have to work hard long days now that the IPT schedule is in full swing.

Considering the dough that Jeanette pulls in.... I can't imagine they're struggling too terribly bad.

I hear you on that one Timberly, perhaps he should have taken a short break in preparation for this thing, the prize money being offered would certainly justify the sacrifice.

I read your comments alot and tend to agree with you, I was just giving an answer to what George said/says.......so what if he works hard, alot of people do. Big deal.

I've done it / seen it / lived it.

I don't like to justify stupid comments like what he said because he's having a bad day......alot of people have bad days/weeks/months/years and just keep plugging away.

I didn't question class or character.

I appreciate people that pick up things in my pool room and I do the same when I'm anywhere.

Take's as much effort to be clean as it does to be filthy.

I wouldn't think that sleeping with Jeanette would be such a burden.

Jake

I'll call his bluff, where do I sign. He has to do what I do and I have to do what he does for a whole month, heck make it 6 months just to be sure!

PS
I assume Jeanette is part of the deal?

:p

I was talking about his "comment" specifically.....but also alot of the attitudes that players are having there.

I like how you said what you did.
