I'm having some serious issues with layered tips. Help?

Suggestion: if you need to perform tip maintenence at the pool hall, carry a coarse and fine finger nail files (about $0.80 at the local grocery store). Stroke from center towards the edge while rotating the shaft and it will not lift the layers, avoid stressing the glue, and your layerd tips will last a lot longer.

I used to use Kamui Black S on all my cues and never had a problem. I like the feel of them. I recently had Pete Tascarella make me a shaft and when I mentioned I wanted a Kamui on there he giggled at me a bit. He said, well if you wanna pay $30 bucks for a layered tip installed it's your call. I told him to put what ever he uses on and that I give that a go. I'm glad I did. He used Le Pros for his cues. I love it! Lasts a long time and I can let out my stroke the same as the Kamui's. Plus they are 40 cents compared to $19.
Give them a shot. I don't regret it.
