So, being the inexperienced cuemake I am, yesterday I finished a cue with a brazillian rosewood forearm with a jatoba handle. I put it on the scale and found out it weighs 17 3/4 oz without a shaft. I let some guys try it out and they liked the cue, it was just too heavy. So today I bored out a .650 hole, but I had to go in 15" to get the correct weight. Is it going to cause major problems(warping, breaking or whatever) to leave a 15" x .650" hole from the butt plate on into the handle? Thanks for the help.
