I drove 150 miles today to visit Mike Durbin"s shop in Sullivan Illinois. Had a great time and got to see my new cue that is almost finished. Should be ready for the DCC. Mike has been super through the whole process and I love how the cue is turning out.

Thanks Mike!! :)

Jimmy,

That's a great looking cue. The best part of getting a cue from Mike is dealing with him. I found him to always be very pleasant and communicative. Doesn't hurt that he makes an exceptional playing cue. I should have mine in the next couple days so everyone can see the other favorite wood ....Brazilian/Brazilian

Well, I think it would be obvious to everyone... I'm a BIG fan of this cue. Congrats Jimmy and Mike. Looking forward to seeing this beauty in person at the DCC!

After years of friendship, you have definitely rubbed off. I love black on black. :)

You are getting an incredible cue from Mike. I love the design in the butt sleeve.

That is one fine looking Durbin my friend.

The only thing that surprises me is the ivory joint,
the ebony/ebony wood combo, the Bushka ring, and
the Hoppe ring....lol, just kidding, you could tell this
is a JimmyRayK cue a mile away.

Mr. Durbin is doing an awesome job on this one. I want
to hit some balls with it when we meet up.

Congrats on another sweet ebony cue, I'm sure it will
be done soon.

That's quite the backdrop for a beautiful cue. What a stash of maple. Is that plain handlewood in the bins or figured stock?

congrats. I will be having mike make me a cue soon. my drive is significantly shorter though :p
