Zen's working round the clock for me to be able to bring this cue overseas to play with. He's going to pull an all nighter finishing this cue and tommorrow morning drive to the airport to meet me and deliver the cue personally right before I take off. I promised him all the breakfast he can have at the airport...I believe that was his motivation..LOL.

Lots of unusual and good looking wood used on this cue. Redwood, Curly Purpleheart, Bloodwood, Gold Satin(think there's another name for it) and one of my personal Favourite on the handle, Curly Golden Silkwood (again, I don't really know the "professional" or scientific name for it..)

Lotsa recuts on this cue and still a lot of Zen elements on this cue. All white is that exotic material.

Unfortunately I won't be able to photograph any better picture till I have this cue in my hands in 8-10hours time. I'll probably take photos of it when I return to China from my work trip.

Fellow AZers meeting me in Frankfurt and Vegas will be able to check this cue out first hand. Looking forward!

Here are some in the making pictures from Zen:

Two more pictures to show the beauty of the handle wood. Note that the grains line up too:

Pre heating your cue on the stove so when you shoot doesn't need to warm up?:D

I knew I shouldn't have showed you my warm up ritual...it's intense. You're still giving me the 6.

See you in a few days buddy.

Just got the cue from Zen and didn't have time to admire the cue..using his picture. Amazing cue in flesh!!

You will need more than the 6 from Kenny..... I will bet you on the cue Kenny can give you the 5 on a bad day and give you the 4 on the good day hahahaha......... :grin-square::grin-square::grin-square:

This one has been the other cue, that I've been able to try out.

I have to give Jive some credit for his great taste in cues!!!
Although I'm more into cues with restrained design, this one looks amazing. The recuts are very nice and the whole selection of different woods and colours really pop out with that perfect clear coat!

Another Zen cue with a flawless finish and perfect craftsmanship.
Great one!
