First off, I am shopping for an 8ft table in the $2000-$2500 price range. I have looked at both Brunswick and Olhausen entry level tables. The Olhausen dealer i went to had a brand called DLT? It sounded nice but i have not heard anything about that brand? It was the windsor model and it was going to be $2000 plus tax. It had 1 inch 3 panel slate. And the dealer has put Accufast rails into them. I am just hoping someone has heard of this brand and had any input to give me. Thanks in advance.

I have sold this brand before. compared to other chinese tables, this one is okay. But it still doesn't compare to a top US brands. As for putting the Accufast cushions, I don't think it will work. The olhausen rails are alot thinner than the DLT.

I have an Olhausen table and I think the rails are excellent. That being said, if I had it to do over, I would buy a used GC or Diamond table.

I'd suggest looking for a used 8' Gold Crown or Medalist (both are Brunswick tables) or even an old Brunswick Sport King. You can find a good one in your price range. Now you'll have a real pool table.

I don't know where you live, but here is a Sport King like Jay was saying, at a pretty good price...............

As suggested by others, look at used Gold Crown tables. Check your local Craig's List. For $2000 you should be able to find one in excellent condition. Add another $500 to have it covered with Simonis 860, set-up and leveled by a good table mechanic and you're in business. You'll have the best table money can buy.
