I would like to play Allison a challenge match 10 ball race to 50 on a Diamond table with slightly worn cloth and 4 1/2 inch pockets. I don't consider myself in the top 100 players in the world and woul be very interested and curious on how it would come out.If I had to predict the final score it would be Fisher 50 Incardona 44.I would be willing to play for $5,000 and would be willing to get Allison staked if she chooses to exercise that option. In either case it would be fun,and interesting and then we would get a better read on her game. I need 3 months to get in shape if I possibly can get into shape. How about it Allison??

Didn't Strickland's contract with Cuetec "forbid" him from gambling... I imagine Allison's would be similar.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to see this match adn would love to see a win by you Billy, but I don't think it can happen do to her contract situation. If it does happen it can't be in the puclic eye like this or else it would get back to her sponsor one way or another, but when 2 big names like Incardona and Fisher are gonna play some, who isn't gonna hear about it?

I'd like to see this though, can anyone shed any light on the cuetec contract?

It could probably be done as a challenge match with others putting up the money rather than a straight gambling match between two players gambling their own money. I would like to see it come off, good luck Billy.

That suits me fine we don't have to gamble,we can make it a $2,500 gift to her if she wins.

I'd love to see that match and i'd be willing to pay to see it if possible. I have an old accu-stats tape of Billy playing Kim Davenport and it's one of the best examples of how 9 ball is supposed to be played. Kim was ranked first or second at the time and Billy man handled him in the match. Grady and Buddy Hall did the commentary and it was classic! One of my all time favorite accu-stat matches!

Her contract may not mention gambling but there is probably a "morals clause" of some kind.

Anyway this would be a great match that would garner tremendous interest. It reminds me of Bobby Riggs / Billy Jean King. I suspect Mr. Incordona has a trick or two for Allison and this match will be closer than most people think.

I'm sure Allison can get a stake horse if she is interested.

I think this could be a very intresting match up.

Three months to get into shape??? Dam Bill, I hope I livethat long. I don't plan anything that far in advance.

But Bill, now you got to work hard and bring it home for us Guys. There is a lot at stake here.

I'd love to see that. My favorite pool commentator vs. my favorite female player. :) I'd buy the dvd, especially with you (and maybe Allison) doing a post-match commentary on it.

<EDIT> Shades of Bobby Riggs/What's her name. Not a big tennis fan. Maybe could be good for the game itself.

I'd travel to Dallas to see this one, and put my $ on Billy. No offense intended to Allison, I just think for the money, especially a large amount, Billy would win.

Do you know the tape number per chance?

this would be a great match and i think pretty even. someone needs to let allison know, i don't think she reads the forum.

but i hope this comes off!

My my my Billy Inc. You may have stepped upon the very thing that pool needs to get up and running again. Personally, I'd rather see this match at the Cue Club in Vegas. Show the match on TV, "war of the sexes". Billy Jean vs. Bobby Riggs all over again. I'd rather see partners, but singles would work, too. However, I dont' know if Harrah's would go for it. I know of a way that this would work, however. How about if this were done at the end of the Women's Challenge of Champions at Mohegan Sun ???? Mosun puts up $5K for the winner (winner takes all) and $5K to charity of choice for the loser. Crowd is already there from the C of C. Production is already there from ESPN. All expenses paid for the participants, naturally. Now, what say you about that ???

There is only one problem with the gig. I don't know if you are a good enough foil to make this work on TV. Too respected, too knowledgable, still a handsome man. Alison is so corporate, there has to be something sinister on the other side. Something old school. How about you and Grady against Alison and Gerda ? Now there would be some fireworks!

I'd like to see this, what year and tournament was it? Does Accustats still have it in their catalog?

I think it's a toss up. And I really don't think several thousand dollars would scare Allison. She's pretty well off.
