Whats that baby run in the 1/4?The fastest car i had before i was into pool was a 700hp Camaro,500hp motor and 200 shot spray,it was alot of fun but an expensive hobby, especially when you get knocked for street racing or break stuff.
The car has never been to the track. To make it "trackable" it needs a roll cage, which I plan on installing a 6 point chrome beauty this winter. Also this winter I will be redoing my scavenger pump system to make it more efficient and adding a special brake package. Hopefully, I will get it to the track next spring. I would hope to at least get in the low 10's, but it may be the driver holding the car back. I do know the top speed is 200 MPH +.
The 900HP is an estimate at this time. When I last dynoed it in March the #'s were 690 RWHP, 660 RWTQ on pump gas. Over the summer I had the turbos redone by the builder and had them, the manifolds and all the piping coated with a heat dispersing coating and added a water/alcohol injection system. I figure with a new tune from East Coast Corvettes in the spring I should be close to 900HP. Then, I will add something else. I'm sure you can relate to how this continual building process works.
The neat thing about this car is that even with the special built motor from a shop in Houston, Tx and all the other goodies, the car is completely street legal and passes all the emission/inspection tests. I actually drive it most nights between March and October, although it is not a daily driver per se.
I should add that there is no street racing because I know better, but also being snobbish, there is not much out there that could even come close to this car.
Anyway, thanks for asking about something I really like better than pool, but don't want to take up anyone else's time on this forum. Interesting discussions re: vettes on "Corvette Forum" and more importantly, no Dave Sutton.
