Nope, there's another mistake. Referring to the party who was shafted on this deal as not smart. Dave, thought you were turning over a new leaf in this forum, but it appears you're sliding backwards again. Hope you right the ship. :(

i never had to turn over a new leaf on this site sir but thats for your concern
...............

yes bnow got a cue that wasnt right. but he was given options and declined.

you dont buy a new shaft bc its blue or has a cracked ferrule. that was on him...

if you looked back at the pics of the original fs thread that shafts are filthy.

Dave was asked to get involved by MATT himself. Dave's intentions were good. Matt, you have aired your dirty laundry. This would have only been necessary had you paid for the cue and the cue did not even arrive!! That would have been a total screwing! IMO all this boils down to is lack of knowledge on both parts. Barrosm screwed up by sending it with cracked ferrule. However he offered to make right and I'm sure he will. He also offered to buy it back. He also ran into a tight spot mabye and that happens also. In the long run I am sure everybody involved in this mess are good people. But Matt, In my honest opinion even though you don't know me nor care you hurt yourself more. Nobodys perfect and it sound like you expected a new shaft that you did not deserve. It also sounds like some blueing leads you to believe that it's no good?? Sounds like your tough to deal with... Actually a blued shaft is just what you want if your gonna play with it. Matt and Manny, I mean no harm to either. Just my 2 cents that mabye helps. Anyway, good luck to all and remember to treat others as you would want to be treated!!!!!!!!:D

well said. would you call either of these shafts clean??? one isnt bad but nothing that a clean up cant fix.
yea maybe he missed the cracked ferrule however for that he is liable for a ferrule and thats it.

I'll always be around to point out your inane prattling.

I was expecting to see that you were one of those arrested since you are that dumb but no such luck.

like i said waste of space...

no jail for me im fine with my 400$ to 500$ i make a day:D :D :D

keep dreamin about that vet though:rolleyes:

moving on

Thinking...........

Sitting here for a moment........

Thinking i was going to post the other picture of the shafts showing the 'like new' one to show dave sutton. But i changed my mind.
I was contemplating trying to explain to bish how i din't ask dave sutton for his help, and how my posting about a transaction where i got shafted by a pretty shady seller isn't considered 'airing dirty laundry' but actually the right thing to do.
I was thinking on how i would construct my reply so that maybe this time, maybe, dave sutton would come down from that poorly constructed soap box and see through mannys shadyness, and lack of character. But i changed my mind.

and it came to me......

why bother,

i realised that there will always people who 'get it', and those that don't.

I am moving on from this thread, not to say that i wont post a link to it under ALL of mannys (barrosm's) cues for sale/ trade.

As i said in a previous post, Manny the $150 is all yours, accepting even one cent from you so that you might feel some kind vindication, that maybe finally you "did the right thing", would just make me nauseous.

and dave sutton, i know you have that thing people have where getting the last word in beats out the common sense thought to just walk away, so go for it,

the threads all yours.

sincerely,

Matt B.

I seriously doubt that an illiterate poker dealer is earning $125K/year.

As far as dreaming about the vet, don't need to.
The 900HP twin turbo built motor vet is parked in my garage for the winter.

Whats that baby run in the 1/4?The fastest car i had before i was into pool was a 700hp Camaro,500hp motor and 200 shot spray,it was alot of fun but an expensive hobby, especially when you get knocked for street racing or break stuff. :D

The car has never been to the track. To make it "trackable" it needs a roll cage, which I plan on installing a 6 point chrome beauty this winter. Also this winter I will be redoing my scavenger pump system to make it more efficient and adding a special brake package. Hopefully, I will get it to the track next spring. I would hope to at least get in the low 10's, but it may be the driver holding the car back. I do know the top speed is 200 MPH +.

The 900HP is an estimate at this time. When I last dynoed it in March the #'s were 690 RWHP, 660 RWTQ on pump gas. Over the summer I had the turbos redone by the builder and had them, the manifolds and all the piping coated with a heat dispersing coating and added a water/alcohol injection system. I figure with a new tune from East Coast Corvettes in the spring I should be close to 900HP. Then, I will add something else. I'm sure you can relate to how this continual building process works.

The neat thing about this car is that even with the special built motor from a shop in Houston, Tx and all the other goodies, the car is completely street legal and passes all the emission/inspection tests. I actually drive it most nights between March and October, although it is not a daily driver per se.

I should add that there is no street racing because I know better, but also being snobbish, there is not much out there that could even come close to this car.

Anyway, thanks for asking about something I really like better than pool, but don't want to take up anyone else's time on this forum. Interesting discussions re: vettes on "Corvette Forum" and more importantly, no Dave Sutton.

I got a pm from DS and now I think the initials have two meanings as in dumb s%&$# and MBnow has every right in the free world to refuse having any shaft repairs made and or cleaned, expecially when misrepresented as perfect condition.
