The Router Bracket used for Indicator Holder..
Drilled and Tapped 10-24 Holes in top Plate.
Removed Allen Head Screw and countersunk the bore.
Use the extra Flat Head Screw from the removal of the Power Feed Switch Mount. ( Extra when relocated the Power Feed Switch..)

Dial Indicator Holder

Use either hole to mount the Bracket for positioning the Indicator.
You will need to use a short extention on the Indicator tip when doing the smaller Joint sizes.

Dial Indicator Mounting

This is a 5/8" dia. Black Delrin Piece, about 1 1/2" Long.
You can make different lengths to extend the Indicator out further.

Drilled and Tapped 1/4" x 20 on the Indicator side and 5/16 X 18
on the Mounting side. The Router Bracket has a 5/16" Slot.

Hi,

So I got to ask. What is your run out on that headstock chuck?

Rick G
Hi Rick,
I didn't do all those checks yet...:o
I just got it Tuesday and was fussing-around with the butt cap and joint collar and brackets all day yesterday.
I will check it out..
That Cue Butt is warped (From the '90's) so, it wasn't a good test.

I noticed the different chuck jaws, are those modified originals or are they completely different.
Thanks
The chuck is the one that came with the lathe..
It has the Aluminum Soft Jaws. that came on the chuck..

Photo shows set-up for checking Run-Out or Traming the whole cue.

I like to say,
I got great customer service. (As with all the Cue Suppliers here..:).)
