Hello,

Those of you have used Porper Model B lathes, how do you like them?

How accurate are they?

Can you build cues from the ground up?

How did you like them compared to other turn key cue making lathes available?

if you don't want to post here feel free to IM me.

thanks everyone,

Ryan/ratcues and Craig/Manwon should be able to give you some detailed information about the Porper.

I have 2 model B's & 1 model A. I do 90 % of my repairs on the B. I turn all of my shafts on the B. I make my rings & forarms on the B & I do all of mt assembling on the B. The only things I don't do on them is the tapering of the assembled butt or inlays. I have a Hightower that is dedicated to do those jobs on. Yes you can make every part of a cue on a model B...JER

Hi
I have 1 that I bought in 1995 and for 5years I made about 300 cues on it . I know have a cnc I do all my shafts on and final cuts on the butts . The porper has been a great lathe. You Might want to talk to Mike Webb of Webb cues.
