Hi Chris,
I think it's got more to do with the price than with you being new. The Bluebook has level three Ingram cues (which looks like what yours is) at $450 in 98% condition. Level four cues with 9-25 inlays top out at $525. Most of this forum ends up being collectors or flippers, so you're going to have a hard time getting retail prices. Jimmy isn't real well known, either, so you almost have to find the right person. I would be willing to go to the top of a level three price for it. If you decide to sell it for $450 delivered, I would take it...

Look at all the cues that are being offered on this forum. Do you think that every time a cue is offered it is snapped up? Just because it is listed it is not an automatic sale. The only cues that go fast are those that are in demand and have a reasonable price. Bushwacker is a good example of someone that sells cues here regularly. He sells premium stuff and keeps lowering his price until it is sold or get to his bottom price. Even then he does not sell everything that he lists.
