Hey guys and gals,

It's time for me to put a new tip on my cue. I have been playing with the original kamui's for a couple years. I've played with both the medium and hard kamui's.

I would like to hear from some of you who have played with the kamui originals and have moved or played with the kamui black tips. How do you like the blacks, did you try them and move back to the orginals? How do the black medium play compared to the the original medium, same with the hard tips?

Would love to hear from you all.

thanks,

Kamui black medium plays a little harder than kamui medium.

That is correct, it is indeed harder. I like hard tips and the Kamui (H) is harder than the Brown Kamui (H). So far it's holding great.

I have played with the original Kamui MS and I now have a SS Kamui black. I have had it on for one week and I play everyday, so far so good. The shape is still there.

REALLY? WOW, i've played the the brown Kamui hard tip and i thought it was really hard. Almost too hard, that tip kind of scares me a little. Sometimes i feel it will miscue easy.

Do you have issues with miscuing at all? Do you scuff the tip very much?

thanks for your input.

Maybe i'll get it a try. I've been using k brown hard tips, but sometimes i wish it was just a tad softer. But when i play with the k medium tips, i wish there were a bit harder. LOL. Maybe i'll try the K black medium.

thanks for the input.

Don't put a soft tip on because everyone says it hits like a normal medium tip. I did and I regret it. I'm no fan of hard tips but kamui black soft hits like a sponge.I'm actually thinking of replacing it after a week of play. My previous tip was Talisman M and it hit like a rock comparing to this now.

My black M hit really hard. But after playing with it for a while, I am beginning to get used to it and I like it now. However, still not as good as the regular Kamui II M, IMO.

The tip does hit a lot harder then what it's advertised as. I shoot with a Kamui Black Medium.

Personally, the tip gives a great amount of feedback. And from what I found holds its shape very well.

You can always go for a softer tip then just keep on playing with them, or hit on the floor to compress the tip to get it harder.

What i'm using right now is kamui soft. Plays good so far. I've been using it for about 3 months now and no delaminating or mushrooming so far.

Just try an Everest one time, I have 1 shaft with a black ss kamui 1 with an Everest and the last one with the new Tiger Emerald and the two Tiger tips play better than the Kamui in my humble opinion and they are cheaper.--Leonard

Kamui Black tips

I tried for several weeks the Kamui Black SS tips. They are indeed soft but I didn't like them at all. See to me to be a little too springy to me. I went back to a Kamui II soft tip and like it alot better.

I need to change out my tip and was thinking of ordering a few different ones. I'll probably order a Moori medium, Kamui black medium and a Sniper. If I don't like the Moori or Kamui I can always just put the Sniper back on.

I've Posted before on tips- Kamuibrand.com -look

All Kamui tips play great in my OP. If people spin balls the SS, S, are better for them. And they can feel dead or spongy (When you try to shoot harder-or use a punch stroke) the backs are the same tips, just dipped ,soaked (whatever) in a Moisture Proof solution!!!!. Allowing for less changes under changing conditions. Like Playing here then Taiwan-then Europe, and Home again. Just like Touring Pro 's do Play all over the world. And these tips are sold around the world even to snooker players. Are you guys remembering to compare apples to apples. Tip, ferrule ,Joint combinations. You need to take in for different glues, and How about chalk use the best possible, (Blue Diamond) and put the correct amount of chalk on. You can stroke the cue very close to the middle with English- I feel the tips are more accurate, Hollywood loves barbecue sauce!!!

Alrighty well I just ordered a Kamui Black soft, Moori medium and a Sniper. First up to bat will be the Kamui. I'll compare them to the Sniper that I already have on my cue.

I feel the kamui black soft I have right now way harder than a sniper for example. Maybe the ones to compare to a sniper would be kamui brown soft and black super soft

Kamui

I have three shafts for my playing cue. My OB Shaft has a Moori (M) on it, my Tiger XUltra shaft has a sniper on it, and my standard shaft has the Kamui Black (H).

All in all, I find I am pulling out my standard shaft. I like the other shafts but the tip does it for me. I orderd 25 Kamui tips this week and I am going to put Kamui on all my shafts, they are the best I have shot with yet. In a very very close second are the Tiger Sniper tips.

I do like the sniper too, but the Kamui keeps it's shape and I don't have any mushrooming problems like I had with the Moori.

I have them all for sale so need anything? Let me know...

i liked the kaumi black hard(& i hate layered tips) but still dont perform like a triangle hard pressed in a vice, dollar 4 dollar i'll stay with my triangle.
