Input on Kamui black tips please

I switched to the black because it is supposed to be better in humid areas. I use the kamui black medium and i like it a lot. It holds chalk and i can hit as far from center as i could before without miscuing (i have a shaper that I use about once a week). As for the humidity thing i don't notice anything but i have only had it for about 5 months. I is certainly true that it is harder than the brown medium.

I just switched from Wizard M to Kamui Black SS and couldn't be happier. I can't believe how well they hold chalk. To me it seems like the SS is harder than a Sniper Tip.
I'm a convert.

I bought a couple of Kamui Black medium tips while in Galveston in September. At first I thought it played very hard, but it holds its shape and chalk very well. I play almost everyday and have not shaped it or anything in over a month. Now that I am used to it I really like the way it plays.

I have put Kamui Black H tips on my last two playing cues. I like hard tips and these compress but never lose their shape. I have played with one on my Rick Howard cue for six months and it is almost like new. Fewer miscues than the original Kamui (in my opinion, miscues are stroke issues, rarely related to the tip).

Best tip I have played with to date.

I like the Kamui black M so much, it's what comes standard on all CA$H cues. They are that good.

I play with Kamui Black SS and it is the NUTS!!! I can get way on the outside and way on the top of the CB to make those Buddy Hall action shots. I do not have to hit the CB as hard as I did before to get where I want to go I just hit higher or real far out on the edge of the CB. Kamui is the answer for me.

I have a Kamui black med. on one of my shafts. I think it has a more spongy feel to it than a Sniper med. It does hold chalk and it's shape very well. I recently bought a OB1 shaft that has a Everest on it. I think I now have found my favorite tip, Everest all the way.

I like Everest tips also and they come standard on Predator shafts. I usually play with Moori Slow tips and when I bought a new Predator shaft I started to change the tip to a Moori which is what i'm used to playing with, but I thought about it and decided to leave the standard Everest tip on the shaft for a while and I really like the way it plays. The people at Predator cues must like them also since that's their choice for their shafts.

The Glue used to put on S and SS tips can make them harder than normal. Liquid Super Glue is a No No. Gel Super Glue will not wick into the tip like Liquid. Too Much Glue can also effect the hardness. I use just a drop of Gel Super Glue and activating agent to get very good results.

I have a Kaumi SS tip on a Masse Cue I recently made from an old cue. I cut the shaft so I had a 14 MM ferrel and Tip. I also cut the butt to make the Cue 42" long. I am still practicing with that Cue and while I can not honest say I can control the ball like I want too, The Kaumi SS really grabs the ball and gives it a lot of spin.

My Goal with the Masse Cue was not to do trick shots. I wanted an other trick in my bag for getting out of jail. I tried other soft tips and found the Kaumi SS to work the best.
