Insane customer service from Gabriel Tables

So I recently bought a Gabriel table, and when receiving it, it did not have the stickers on it. I couldn't find an American distributor, so I filled out a contact form on their website. I got an email back stating they could send me the stickers for about 20 Euros. So I intended to order this, but never got around to it.

Fast Forward to today (my birthday by coincidence) and my wife gets a weird package from Belgium. I open it and sitting in the box are two stickers sent from Gabriel in Antwerp. I could not believe it. Bewildered I figured out that I had included my address on the generic internet contact form and they just sent them to me, free of charge. I do intend to make sure they meant to send them to me, as I can not believe a company would do that. I certainly did not originally purchase it from them.

I looked at my wife, with the happiest look I could, and thanked her for making my day. I thought she had ordered them, and turns out they just sent them. I am absolutely impressed by them. I could not have received a gift that was as exciting (to me) and I felt like a child opening a present. That is a feeling I have not had in many years. THANK YOU GABRIEL TABLES!

The European meltdown must have made them hungrier. :D
They have a revamped web site that includes all the American pool halls with Gabriels tables.

And the contact page has been improved to accommodate queries from addresses in Canada and the U.S.

Can anyone enlighten me on the business arrangements. I thought Diamond was the North American distributor. How does the that outfit in Germantown, TN fit into the grand scheme?

First State Billiards in Dover DE has two in the front and two in the back of the room. They are the best table I have ever played on. I have played on every table ever manufactured in most of the 50 states. They bank great, running balls up the rail is a dream and roll perfect, what more can you ask for. I call them super-Diamonds.

I'm confused. Are you saying that these are Diamond tables? I honestly curious. Looking for a table. I wanna see all my options.

Sounds suspicious, probably a birthday present from you wife, possible setup
Or maybe Gabriel sent them to you by mistake, so I wouldn't use them until you find out if they are your actual stickers.

I visit there often from another state and agree.

How do these tables compare to Diamond tables? They both seem to incorporate pretty much the same features(lots of slate levelers, flush pockets, deep rails, easy to bridge off of, etc etc). I already got the one persons opinion of a "super diamond" but what does everyone else think? Also does anyone know what a 9ft version of one of these beasts costs?

Oscar and Ernesto Domingez both say after all the tables they've played on and installed, Gabriels are by far the best,!!!

The one Gabriel 9 footer I have played on in Fargo, ND at Fargo Billiards & Gastropub played like a pool table made in heaven.

I have had the pleasure of playing on these Gabriel's billiards tables and they play so amazingly well! I really wish I get the chance to play on one of their pocket tables sometime in my life. I know if I had the money I'd be buying 2 Gabriel's tables :grin-square:
