Dude, why are you contributing to the crap with comments like this?

If you don't want to be here then why write anything at all?

I like you but I don't get where this is coming from.

As for the security issue - it's a big one, a lot of folks have their real email addresses here and getting a board or a hosting account hacked leaves the people who use that board or visit that website open to viruses and trojans.

I don't know if IPM did get hacked but I can tell you that IP did not long after we took it over. At that point we hadn't changed anything. So it totally sucked when all the users at the IP forum started getting viruses and all kinds of alarms from their anti-virus software due to our site. We fixed it but I am sure that some people are still upset and won't go back to IP because of it.

I am writing to you from a freshly installed copy of Windows because a virus/trojan infected my computer and disabled my AV software after I plugged into a hotel network here. I have fought this thing for weeks and finally I just wiped the drive and started all over.

So it's not cool to make light of something that may be a serious issue. Sucks that you have to be defensive about every little negative thing that happens at IPM and is reported here.

Anyway that's my take on it. Glad my email isn't there for JR to sell. (and yes that's my negative opinion as one who has been burned by JR Calvert.)

John, I understand your reaction because you are all about flaming IP, which is what this thread is about.

If you want to support bs threads like this, go ahead. If I want to poke fun at these threads that are simply IP flames, and useless to pool discussion, then I will do so.

That's what makes a horse-race....Dude

Az Konusur... hmm, perhaps that is meant to read AZ Cono Sur.

Does the hacker possibly post here???

That is exactly what I thought when I read it, but was unsure of the spelling so I looked it up. AZ connoisseur.

Now wouldn't that be a surprise. I think some people take this forum stuff WAY too seriously. When I feel myself doing that, I turn off the computer and do something in 'Real Life' <=== which means everywhere BUT the computer :)

Inzombiac - I LOVE your posts and your ability to chill the situations.

Doubtful. It's also not one of several widely used languages - I tried running that phrase through AltaVista's Babelfish translator, no love there with the X-to-English choices available.

It's probably also some script kiddies who threw in the Islam reference just for kicks.

I wouldnt rule it out Scott, you could probably run this though the same translator:

/\Z 1s |\|07 4s 600|) /\s 1p/\/\.

and still not get a correct answer, although some people can read that without problem. its just mispelling stuff to represent something else. I think someone from here probably did it.

Who says AZ isn't as good as Inside Pool?

Icon of Sin is correct, it could just be "1337" (elite) speak!
HAHA, nice. Yep, thanks for the assistance.

I am new to AZ Billiards and the truth is, I haven't posted on InsidePoolMag's site yet but I plan to. I like their site too. But being a newcomer, I must admit that I am not familiar with all of this back-and-forth about which site is better.

But it does seem BEYOND clear that the name 'Azkonusur' seems like a direct reference to the fact that the hacker is A) AZ loyalist and B) NOT very good at hiding it.

Now ScottW, I don't know you from Adam but it seems to me that you are brushing off the obvious here. While I may not know much about the war going on between the two, I have to admit... this doesn't look good for the AZ community if they have a rogue hacker in their midst who will go around destroying competitor sites. JMO.
