And since you are posting in this thread Mr. Griffin - I would like to make a suggestion.

My suggestion would be this: If Robin Dodson Bell aka Drake's mother is going to have a booth at the BCAPL tournament again this year and her husband is going to be shouting out at the top of his lungs, trying to sell 6 raffle tickets and there is going to be 2 winners while matches are going on - move her booth out front where the Inside Pool prime location always is and move Inside Pool over to where the Robin Dodson Bell aka Drake's mother booth normally is. Or better yet, move Inside Pool to the back hallway where Rixx Images is usually located and put Rixx in the nice spot in the middle of the main tournament room where the Robin Dodson Bell aka Drake's mother booth normally is. I think those Rixx Images are really great and he needs to get more exposure.

This year the floorplan and exhibitors are going to be different.

Where Robin used to be, there is going to be 2 each 9' Diamond Tables - we are having a Hi-Run contest there which will have large TV's for spectator viewing.

There will be amateur, pro, women and probaby senior divisions. The details are not finished. Should be fun and create a lot of spectators.

After hours, the tables will be available for play.

WE also have 2 pro events (US Open One Pocket and US Open 10-Ball.

I hope you come out and chase me down - first beer is on me!

After hours there will be a relaxed dress code. We will have signs posted telling everyone what is expected.

BTW - we will also have 8 of the tables in the Pro Arena available for play after hours also. The TV table will nOT be available.

This is going to be a lot of fun - with all of the One Pocket champions in the building!!!

I just checked with the office, and the dress code will be in effect for participants in the 14.1 high-run challenge...as Mark said code relaxed on those tables when the challenge is not going on.

JoeyA - thru your connections, can you also determine how InsidePool got my email address and spammed me? If you need my email address, I can send it to you in a PM. Also, I have not changed email addresses in about 10 years.

Also, I like to read Billiard magazines but don't want the frustration that many others have had with Inside Pool and their subscriptions. I will extend an olive branch to Inside Pool and offer this - if they send me a magazine on time, every month (or issue) for a year, I will pay them at the end of the year. I will do so each and every year until they put me 6 feet under or Inside Pool ceases to exist. Can you work on that arrangement as well?

I really don't have any "connections". I had a moment of pity on the other guy with the subscription problem and was going to volunteer my efforts to resolve his problem if I could do so without paying with a pound of flesh. So far he hasn't sent me a PM.

Your requests sound like they have too much personal baggage for me to get involved. YOu're gonna have to handle those yourself. :wink:
