Installing 9' table up 3 flights

Im looking at apartments and found a perfect one with a 21' x 26' living room!

Only problem is this building does not have an elevator, and the unit is on the 3rd floor. The steps are very wide cement steps, probably 4' wide. I can get a step measurment if necessary.

Question: can I have either a GC or a Diamond Professional (3 piece slate) installed here?

Also, can someone give me Mark Gregory's number. I know he is a member here, but I want to get a hold of him soon. I live in Atl, so I'd probably go through him with whatever table I decide on.

Thanks all.

easy stuff for real mechs. our rule is if i can get in so does the table. beleive it or not but 5 flights, tight staircase, no elevators and 9' inch and a quarter do exist...

Mark's number is 770-548-4292

Thanks, just got off the phone with him.

If Mark does the job for you, you'll see him trolling around Home Depot a few days before he starts the job...looking for someone willing to pack all the slates and frame upstairs....because he ain't going to pack anything:grin:

LOL, yes, he mentioned helpers, I didn't know he'd get them from HD. There is a HD 5 minutes from this apartment that has at least 15 guys lined up every day outside for work. It will be easy pickins...

Unless Mark has used them before, in which case...they WON'T speak ANY English at all when Mark tries to hire them again...as they turn and run:rotflmao1:

Table

Find a moving company that has a escalera or a liftkar for the slates up the steps or where ever they need to go.
Best of luck

Whoever moves it, Hope they have insurance! And muscles.. 3 stories. I know 1 guy who won't be moving that.. lol

Well, I checked out the place today again. Its not as bad as I thought. Its on the second floor. The steps leading up to it are 10 steps, then a landing, then 10 more steps, a landing, and my door on this landing. The steps are 3.5' wide.

I went ahead and signed the lease. Now, I just have to decide on a table:)
