Installing new pocket leathers

Any installers out there? I need a hand trying to get my corner pocket leathers right.

I just finished replacing all the pocket leathers, netting and rails (extended ones at the top cushion) on my BCE Westbury steelblock. Of course it's playable, but from looking on youtube the fitters manage to get the leather flush with the wood. What's the trick?

The black corner pockets on this table are hella tight. :eek:This table plays great. I even think the twighlight zone near the middle is gone. I really stunk it up the last time I played on it.:frown: Hoping for better. LOL.

Looks like you simply didn't tuck and staple them corners to me. Not that i've ever even seen a fitter at work.

I shot of an email to BCE, but haven't heard from them yet. Hopefully somebody will tell me how to do it. I've tried metal wire, even looked at making the hole larger, but that doesn't look right either.

Mnorwood, I'll loosing them up after the championships, I won't be practicing nearly as much, so it'll help my game too.

Yeah Wity! They are not all badge collectors and muppets overthere.;)

The table still plays wonderfully, just has those bright leathers sticking out.
Felt a bit old Sunday after playing against a fellow US championship contender for 12 hours straight.

I did say 99% didn't I ?

That 1% are priceless though when you have an unuual question. Even though the weasle banned my nick i still spend 5 mins a day reading there though i couldnt be arsed to post.

Under, I've got the corner pockets tightened up to practice for the national championships. The center pockets are rather larger.... I'm all about making the black ball!
