Can someone tell me where I can purchase a latch to replace the top latch on my Instroke cue case. It broke off like so many have done so and I am not having any luck finding one.

Thanks,
Brian

Contact John Barton. He's the mastermind behind the latch, it's creation, and still uses it on his cases.

I believe John Barton gave detailed instrux for ordering the new and improved replacement latch. Do a search for "diamond latch". Hasta be in here somewhere. If all else fails PM John here on AZB.

You can contact Franks Billiard Center at http://www.frankscenterinc.com/wvss/index.php

He has the latches available. They have two different types avialable. I would suggest using the heavier duty one. They will also replace it for you if you UPS your case to them. It is really cheap. Right about $10.00!

Of course, you pay shipping. Got an extra case to use? This is the way to go.

Or, if you frequent the BCA Nationals in Vegas, you can have it replaced there for about $25.00. I had mine fixed when I was out there. They complaetely take your case apart and rivet the new one in. Well worth having someone else do it for you.

Good Luck

Anyone know if Instroke will be at the Open? I need a latch fixed too.

Frank's Center is the way to go for Instroke latches. Spend the money and upgrade to a Diamond latch and you won't have another problem.

www.frankscenterinc.com I don't think anyone will be repairing latches at any major tournaments anytime soon. I used to do it and then I gave my equipement to Leslie Rogers from Cuetech Pool School. But he's in Japan I think.

So send it to Frank's and he will take care of you.

Send it back to Instroke, they'll replace the latch. It might even fall under warranty. Give them the first stab at fixing your case before you have someone else do it and void your warranty. John Barton has discussed this topic of latch replacement at great length. Do a forum search like someone mentioned. Good luck with your case,
Mike
