Just curious about who you have received instruction from on any aspects of your game? You don't have to give details (unless you want), just names and at what point in your career did you see them. I seen this photo and it peaked my curiosity.

Hey Zim,

That picture is from a Florida SPIRIT tour event a couple of years ago. I have never been to the Billiard Sanctuary. I have received lessons from Mark Wilson and Jerry Briesath. I most recently got lessons from Mark. I think he is an incredible instructor and definitely worth the trip and money.

Instructor...

I know Mark also, I live about 15 minutes from him. I visit with him every couple of weeks just to enjoy the conversation. I know the photo I attached is at Tim's house in Florida, just didn't know if all of the players in the photo were there training or not. Did you go to Mark or he come to you? Do you have plans to visit him again? Let me know if you are, my family and I will stop in and say hello!

Hi Zim,

That photo was taken at a tournament at Capone's in FL (sorry I can't remember the town). The Billiard Sanctuary is a sponsor of the ladies SPIRIT tour. I have had both Mark come to me and I have gone to visit him. I haven't seen him in about 5 years though for lessons. I am planning on being in that area possibly tomorrow. If not then I will be there for the tournament at Sharky's this weekend. Hope to see you there.

My family and I plan on going to Sharky's probably Saturday afternoon or evening. It's a small place, I'm sure we'll run into each other. I'm one of Tim's instructors that's why I was curious about you're connection to the Sanctuary. Best of luck this weekend!

Thank you. I have heard good things about Tim. I have never met him though. I am pretty happy with learning from Mark. he has known me for way too long. :) Be sure to introduce yourself on Saturday.

Mark is a fine man, instructor and one of the BEST ambassadors to our cueing sport! I will introduce myself! You can't miss me, I always wear my logo on the back, either a collared shirt or my black/grey jacket (letterman style).

Well good, it sounds like we are both easy to find. I'm short and my hair usually sticks straight out....oh and I play pool alright too. :)

I can't say that I know of anyone else going. I haven't been to the St. Louis area for a tournament in about 5 years. I'm kind of out of the loop on everything going on down there.

Thank you. I might make my way down that way more often. My younger sister goes to college down that way. It's always good to visit...and play pool of course.

Let me know if you're in the area (besides this weekend), maybe you can squeeze an hour to stop by my Billiard Sanctuary in O'Fallon, Illinois. It's about 15-20 minutes from Sharky's. I'd be honored to add you to my "Wall of Fame"!
