Miz and Sigel bangin around at 8 ball like they were in the basement gameroom at your house. Everybody smiling and making jokes.

Miz "Just showin off" with a trick shot.

That was just downright pleasant to watch.

They mentioned table speed and pocket size, briefly.

They talked about what makes a great player. Mentioned some basics about stroke etc.

No tip discussions, not ferrule discussions, no LD discussions....not even mentioned.

Sigel mentioned his cue because he made it.




The video reminded me of why I love this game. It can me competitive, intense, athletic, but most of all it is fun.

I found Mizerak's comments on the state of pool, specifically leagues, women's, and men's to be very insightful. Funny that 15 years later, very little has changed.
 
Thanks for sharing. I had never seen that before.

As it happens, I went to the US Open 14.1 they were talking about and Freddie and other RSBers and I had the Miz come sit down beside us.

The Miz was one of a kind.
