International Pool Tour in the News

I'm not sure they can legally until it is a done deal. So far, only the LOI had been signed as of the Reno player's meeting.

Are you suggesting that it was legal to blab about the alleged LOI signed between IPT and Ho Interactive during a speech in a more or less public meeting and for IPT to post the entire transcript tape on their open to the public website but it wouldn't be legal to feed the speech transcript to the press direct:confused:

Linda, this guy KT has fed you so much doublespeak that your head must be spinning. No-one can blame you for that right enough:)

On the other hand,if no such LOI exists there certainly could be some kind of illegality kicking around.

Or, how about some type of press release or statement from the Ho camp simply acknowledging that they have signed a letter of intent, or even have an interest in purchasing the IPT from KT? Anything from someone other than KT, he's totally not believable. And since KT has already made it public, it would be perfectly legal for the other side to acknowledge it, in fact it would lend credibility to a "rumor".

Sorry, I can't believe that it was ever real or will happen. Especially now that KT has devalued the IPT with this non payment fiasco.

I have an intent to buy Micrsoft. Me saying I would like to do it or intend to do it is far removed from actually doing it.

Yet

at all the live matches, there was Ho Interactive advertising all over the place besides the website. If it was not so, wouldn't Ho Interactive be filing a legal action against KT?

Buying advertising, signing a Letter of Intent, and actually buying a business are three distinctly different activities.

I have dealt with many Letters of Intent in the past, most of which never resulted in a sale, joint venture, etc. Typically, their main purposes are to assure whatever level of confidentiality is agreed to, to give the buyer access to the sellers books and other records to do sufficient due diligence and generally agree on a time table for future action or expiration. Every one that I ever saw had a specific statement about that the LOI/MOU was a non-binding agreement on either party.

It is merely the first step in a long process involving many lawyers and lots of paper.

I/we could speculate on what might or might not be in the LOI, or in a final deal if it is culminated, but it would be purely guessing and not worth the time or energy it would take as we have no facts.

Mr. Ho did not attain billions in net worth by paying more for things than they are worth.
