I've been watching a lot of the players interviews from Derby on YouTube, but I gotta say, trying as hard as I can not to be biased by a local player, I probably enjoyed watching Ike's interview the best. You really get a feel for the kind of guy he is, what he thinks about when he's at the table. It's a good watch if you've got 5 minutes to spare, check it out!

I thought the interview was bad because she wasn't asking the right questions and she obviously doesn't know anything.

Her delivery is great - and has good inflection. She has huge potential. Someone should write the questions for her ahead of time --- like how the NFL sideline girls are pre-prepped.

I hope someone from Inside reads this and coaches her a little - she could be great.

Nice work on putting that up!

Last year at the Expo the wife and I sat and chatted with Ike for a few minutes, and got a feww pictures. We never met before, But he was a real down to earth guy, and seemed happy to talk to the fans of the game.

I just met Ike at the DCC, and concur, very nice down-to-earth guy. He happened to know someone I was sitting with, came up and started talking, and looked right at me and said, "what's your story? Why would you wanna be seen hanging around with this guy??" Funny, but cool that he included me in the conversation, and we all chatted for awhile...Made me go root for him in the 1P!! We exchanged hellos and such a few more times during my stay, and he also told me where I could find him if I'm ever up his way. Really cool guy!

Nice guy

I once played Ike in an 8-ball tournament. He had to spot me 2 to 7. It went hill-hill with my break in the final match (BTW, he was behind the whole match). I missed shape on a ball that would have put me out and he won. After the match, he told me I shot very well and if I had gotten that last breakout (missed it by less than an inch) I would have been out. He didn't gloat over the come from behind victory and was very courtious the whole match...something that is hard to find in some players today.

He is a very good player, very patient and moves the CB like it was attached to his eyes with a wire. I was glad to go hill-hill with such a good player. I knew who he was when we started because I saw him (on TV) playing in a ring game at the DCC a couple of years ago. I wish him luck in the future and I hope to play him again...I might get that shape on the last shot next time!
