I know privacy is a big thing like it should be, but I do NOT see why someone should be able to be "invisible" when they're on here. It makes it REALLY difficult for their "friends" to talk to them anytime they're online. I, for one, find THAT option to be utterly pointless and VERY frustrating! For those of you who use the invisible option, WHAT could you possibly be hiding from?? If you don't want to talk to someone, just don't come on or don't add them to your friends...or just delete them from YOUR friends. That will solve the problem! Personally, I feel that the ONLY ones who should be able to use the invisible option, would be celebrities and other famous people that obviously have people bugging them for anything they can get from them. I just feel this option is NOT useful for the common person, and since I love to debate with others, I opened my mouth about it....And I'm not even mentioning the other sites I visit where this option is used also. I'm SURE there are others who agree with me but lack the courage to speak up about it, so I'll take the initiative and do it. Feel free to debate with me about this, but this IS my opinion which I'm entitled to, and you can't change that!

I'm set to private, and I don't talk to anyone on these boards. I feel what I do, and when I'm on is my business.

thank god AZ Billiards doesn't have a webcam option yet. :D

By the way, great commentary for the Predator 10-ball. I laughed my ass off at you and Tony Drago. That guy is hilarious and you were setting him up great.

I don't believe it has anything to do with courage, or lack there of......
Maybe there comes a point where you would like to read through the posts without being bombarded with pms from people that see that you are on. Suppose Smoragassbored or Manwon wanted to just sit back and scroll through pages without interuption, does that make them a coward.
I don't think so.
Or if you are being harassed by some idiot that can't even keep the same name for longer than a day, that just wants to stir things up by antagonizing others.
How do you block the idiots at that point?
Sometimes it's just kind of nice to relax and see what everyone else has to say.
It's kind of like the old saying..... "Better to sit in silence and let the world suspect that you're an idiot, than to open you mouth and remove all doubt."

Or something to that effect.

Maybe it has nothing to do with hiding, and possibly has more to do with a little quiet reading.
And does it really matter that much?

Like Claude Raines ?

Dave
This took me back to my "Rocky Horror Picture Show" days. In the beginning of the film there's a black screen with red lips singing a song. Periodically the crowd will pipe in with a remark in regards to the song (and through out the movie).

At one point the song goes "Claude Raines was the invisible man" to which the audience yells out "who's Claude Raines?"

Sorry, just a little blast from the past that I felt like sharing. :o

Maybe your "friends" are trying to avoid you.

If you suddenly stopped seeing your friends online, they either stopped frequenting AZ Billiards or you've got bigger problems than whether or not you can be invisible on a message board.

Honestly, I don't see the point in complaining about this. And it seems like a rather crybabyish thing to complain about, that's my opinion (and you can't change that) :)

Or you could complain about something and then provide the counter-arguement in the same paragraph. ;)

So are you now the authority on who is well-known enough to have invisibility priveledge?

Isnt this part of the Pledge Of Allegiance? ".....one nation under God, invisible, with liberty and justice for all"
