Gravy Train...which one is Gravy and which is Train? If you guys are the gravy, what's that make Dad...the Roast?

We'll be looking into that situation. That ruling was adopted in the June 29, 2008 meeting of the Board of Directors. Seems most of the League Operators, including Donny(funny thing...it was his proposal), forgot to tell the Elites about. Maybe we can work something out.

MRWOODSY7...yes, you can watch the matches free of charge. The ISPA uses this opportunity for some entertainment value for our players. Aslo, Franks Center, Diveny Cues and Jacoby Cues are represented and have a few cues and accessories for sale. Guido Orlandi is another vendor...a very good cue repairsman.

If you have a chance to stop by, please do...it is at the very least quite an impressive show. Hope to see you there.

I actually played in vegas last year but I'm sure it is impressive in its own right. I am not nearly as skilled as many of you but i like to watch and learn and have been looking into purchasing a new cue. I've heard that Pat makes a pretty good hitting cue. I play with an Its George now. any of you guys and gals have any suggestions?
 
Diviney cues hit pretty good. I haven't played with many cues...(10 max) so I rank that one at or near the top of the list.

Wow, we added $4000 to the Men's and $2000 to the Women's. Had less than 32 in the Men's (only 3 from outside the state) and 10 in the Women's (only 2 from outside the state). I guess that really tells the story...I doubt we'll be offering anything for outsiders anymore. If you want to play at the ISPA, you'd better move to Iowa and get qualified in a League.

I am truly disappointed no body came to play (no outsiders anyway)( not dis'in anyone who did show up, you all got the money and played well). It is a great tournament and a good time. Oh well, we tried for three years. I guess the Iowans must have scared everyone away.
