IPT Live Broadcast!! Questions.

no video

Well, I've got audio, but just a white area in the flash player (old version 7 BTW) where the video should be.

The audio seems flawless, but it's just not the same without video. :(

Mikey

It is unbelievable that someone can stroke themselves that much... do you think when he watches the replay he thinks about how much of an a$$ he sounds like

Ok the video runs for me, but keeps loading and loading and loading. I came the conclusion that it's just me, My connection which suck. Hehe, have fun guys watching the games. i really wished to see efren's match. but damn :(

update macromedia flash player i'd say, and try using firefox? Just a thought, it might work. try it.

122-56 ortmann still shooting, the audience is a mixture of half old men and half models with a few pro players wedged in the middle of them, oliver is finally warming up

woah, I just restarted the router and it worked fine!! :D looks like i had a bad IP before, something technically that i dont really know. but glad now it works.

they just talked about The next IPT Vote. Lets give it to Earl strickland, I'd love to see him play before he completely stop playing Pool! Just like now i'm happy to see Efren play before he totally stop playing :)

Well, thanks truly for the advice. I'm a computer expert, but limited to this (old) Redhat 9 (LINUX) system for the moment.

Using the flash player 9, I get about 2 seconds of video, and then it crashes.

Anyway, it would have been thoroughly cool to watch this tonight, but life goes on... For a while anyway...

122 - 74 Schmidt

Ortmann left with a tough break shot -- makes it but scratches. Schmidt needs three...

122-74 oliver set up perfect for his break shot but drew off the rack straight back into the corner pocket, john shooting again i figure he'll run out the match

Tough break for Ortman scratching...he is a class act and a true champion IMO.

ah linux :D I used some linux before, ubuntu, pclinuxos, and some other distro's

I watched a stream via VLC without a browser i've read a howto about this in ubuntu forums. but i'm not that expert. So goodluck there my friend, hope it works for you.

P.S Hot lady talking to the players right now, she is so pretty ;)

John wins. You could hear John tell Oliver that Oliver had some bad rolls after the match. John is a class act, I really like the way he treats other pro players.

Someone get TAR on the horn and get Sigel to play either one of these guys 14.1 for $$. Mike still thinks he's the king and its 1983 or something...too funny. He's a legend but he didn't do much on his last comeback at eight ball. If he's running 150's and getting bored like he says, they should get him to play one of the current champs.

KT pointed out that the last time John & Mike played, John beat Mike "quite handily" to which Mike replied "well, it was a close match". Mike then went on to say that he would love to play John and then followed up by making the excuse "well, remember it's straight pool, not 9 ball". LOL, already making excuses to why he would lose.

Both John and Oliver are class acts. I had the pleasure of meeting them last summer at the 14.1 event in NJ. They seem to be pretty good friends off the table and respected competitors of each other on the table.
